"The staff are very helpful The food was good, warm food was warm and cold food was cold. The Room was comfortable and clean. The pool was not heated and thus it was ice cube cold. Kids - liked the pool. Adults - we need to be pampered. The cushions that you sit on in the dining room need a good cleaning, as well as under the tables."

"Except for the microwave in our room and the parking lot, the hotel is a gem! A driver has to be very good to maneuver in and out when the small parking lot is packed, but otherwise its comfortable. The microwave was difficult to work, but replacement was prompt, satisfied!"

"The reception staff was welcoming and efficient. My suite was immaculate, roomy, with appliances helpful for an extended stay. A coffee maker, dish and cookware set were available for purchase. The exercise room and laundry were clean. Parking was plentiful. This location is excellent for shopping and easy access to freeways. I hope to stay here again, on return trips to San Diego."

"Right away, the woman at the front desk was very friendly and greeted me with a fresh chocolate chip cookie. I had a question about my bill and the deposit which was explained thoroughly and professionally. The room was clean, simple and very nice. Beware of a coffee machine, it seems like a Keurig, but it’s not intuitive. I poured more than a single cup full into the brewing compartment and it overflowed when pouring coffee. Oh well. The pool and hot tub were adequate, breakfast buffet was nice, I would come back to this place."

"Nice clean hotel with an excellent location to the Magnolia Theatre (just across the street). Our Expedia conformation showed check-in time to be 3:00PM. Upon arrival at 2:50PM I was told our room wouldn't be ready until 4:00PM check-in time. I showed her my conformation email and was then able to check-in at 3:25. There is a bar in the lobby which would have been nice to wait in, but it doesn't open until 5:00PM. We were disappointed that there is not a complimentary breakfast at this Marriott. My husband and I are retired and travel alot and always book hotels with a light breakfast. For that reason, we will stay at another hotel in the area next time."
