December is a perfect time to visit the Caymans. It is after the hurricane season, so no concerns there. The water is warm year- round so perfect for relaxing in the beach or one of the pools. It is a safe island so it's great for long walks in the warm night air. There are some trails located on the island to explore. During the day, you can take a ride on a bicycle, which are available at the resort. Personally, we really enjoy the pools and hot tub after a day of adventure.
The restaurants on the resort serve it all. From fresh seafood, delicious barbeque, fresh fruits and vegetables and refreshing tropical drinks. There are several restaurants a short drive away where you can get the local cuisine, Italian, Mexican/Spanish, etc. Also, there is small grocery store across from the resort as well as a breakfast cafe and a Subway.
