Top East Maui Hotel Reviews

Maui Seaside Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was very suitable for my purposes because of its location close to the airport. The pool area and ocean view were a special surprise and my room was very attractive."

Maui Coast Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I upgraded to the ocean view which was very simlar to the photo. The balcony was alluring, but this was during the heavy winds and rain of March 2026. The modern room itself was spacious and bright and nicely appointed. The free transportation services in the area was valuable especially with the rain. I also appreciated the location in more south-central Kihei. I would return to this hotel in future visits to Maui."

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea
10/10 Excellent
"Four Seasons is worth every penny, every time. They are excellent. This property and the service is unmatched in the area. I stayed all of last week and then came back. Staff is so excellent. Property is gorgeous. It's just perfect. A lot of things aren't worth the price these days, but I have to say this hotel is worth the money. 5 stars."

Mana Kai Maui- Official Onsite Rental
8/10 Good
"Didn't know the restaurant was closed"

Maui Beach Vacation Club
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place to stay!"

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas
10/10 Excellent
"Did not use the gym"

Days Inn by Wyndham Maui Oceanfront
8/10 Good
"Rooms were very clean. Nice to have easy beach access. "

Maui Beach Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The staff were all super!! They were friendly and helpful during the super crazy Kona storm which made several areas of the hotel wet and prevented some staff from even making it to work, but we were able to spend time enjoying the view from inside and being outside when it wasn't raining. You can hang out in the lobby after check-out and the shuttle drivers are friendly, too. "

AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea
6/10 Okay
"Would give 3.5 stars if I could add a half star. This is one of the newer resorts in Wailea I think. A little further up from the beach but still very close so that shouldn't be a deterrent. Staff were excellent which is the bulk of the 3.5 stars and the pool area is quite beautiful. However- the restaurant is terrible. Ate there multiple times due to no other options because of the Kona storm. Minimal effort, the food is BAD (except the fries, those are great!). Overpriced. At one point I ordered a chicken caesar salad- I got a salad but certainly not that. A pile of lettuce, parmesan shards from a shaker, and a small pile of teriyaki chicken, slightly overcooked. Bizarre. No room service which is disappointing but they have a mobile pick-up service where they put your food in take-out containers and you get it at the front desk. Not much else in terms of amenities. The hotel itself is crazy overpriced for what you get- if they reduced the rooms a little then it would be more understandable. But the staff really are excellent which is the saving grace."
