"After driving 8 hours with two children (5 and 3), it was late, past bedtime and we were ready to crash. At check in we were told they were unable to make room keys, but someone would be able to let us into our room with a master key. We were told this has been an issue for multiple weeks. If we would have known this ahead of time, we would have booked a different hotel. On top of this, there were a lot of corners cut with cleaning. I'm not a super neat freak, but I was very unimpressed. Nothing was overtly very dirty, but there was crumbs and dirt in corners and hard to reach places, and that general unclean feeling in the room. The Hotel also seems like it has been renovated from a much older building, which is fine, but not what we wanted. We unfortunately did not use our better judgement and stayed one night. We were supposed to stay another night, but could not imagine staying any longer. When we tried to get a refund for our second night, we were denied. This hotel seems like its very nice and upgraded and for the price seems like it should be better than a motel, but definitely more motel than hotel. The hotel staff we did encounter were plenty pleasant and kind, but we could not get over no key cards and the cleanliness. "

"The staff is always great which is half the reason we come here to stay at least once a month for a little overnight getaway. I stayed last night (3/14) and the entire lobby and hallway leading to our room smelled like marijuana, REALLY bad! Our room was fine other than the grime and grease on the remote control which was disgusting. The room above us, the couple was having an argument that lasted for a few hours. Approximately between 9pm and 12am. Tried sleeping over it, called the front desk once. Nothing. Went to the front desk at 11pm, nothing. Still reeked of marijuana mind you…. And I laid in bed frustrated until they finally shut up at midnight. Went to sleep, woke up at 430 am to these people having another shouting match and stayed up until check out at 11. Leaving the room, the hallway smelled like marijuana twice as bad as it did when we arrived and as we were packing our bags to leave, the local PD was there to arrest these people making a racket all night. It’s a shame this has to happen here. And a shame that people who used to enjoy it can no longer enjoy this once quiet and clean hotel. There’s zero accountability and proactive management to address low life’s and thugs who have zero attention and manners towards others. Been here over 10 times within the last year and this time will be our last. "
