Weekend getaway

Great property for a party of 8. Nice large dining room table and game room. Comfortable beds and large TVs. Washer, dryer and dishwasher a bonus. Nice fenced in backyard as well.

ESU Homecoming Weekend

We used this house as a place to stay for the weekend during ESU Homecoming. It was a perfect place for 4 alumin couples. Not too far from campus (easy uber ride), but secluded enough to be a great place for us to escape the college crowds and hang out and catchup. Would highly recommend for families as well.

Nice vacation getaway!

We totally enjoyed our stay here, especially with the chef’s kitchen!! Simply amazing! This house also has plenty of spaces and rooms for kids to run around. The community has a lot to offer, tennis courts, pool, etc. Overall is a great summer vacation house!

Great house

The house was very comfortable, the kitchen was nice, and location nearby to local attractions. The kids absolutely loved the basement. We could have used a few more items in the kitchen like large bowls, but overall we loved it and would love to return again.

Overall a very nice time spent with family. The deck along with the bbq and fire table was very nice. Many rooms/baths for people to stay. The large basement was also a hit.

Wonderful

The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It also took children into consideration with a olay area, toys and even table wear. The locarion was near a lot of Pocono attractions. We even sae dears feeding in the yard nightly!

A wonderful, spacious, and comfortable house

We really enjoyed staying at the house. The house is very spacious and comfortable with several different areas to relax. The living room was probably our favorite space with all the windows looking out into the trees. Our second favorite room was the finished basement with the movie theater style seating and the huge TV. The kitchen was also great - it is large and worked well. The four bedrooms are all good size, especially the primary suite on the main floor. We hope to come back every year!

Large House

The house is very spacious and our family enjoyed the basement with game room for hanging out. The kitchen is pretty but was not well equipped as stated. There were not enough dishes to cook to and serve breakfast for the six adults in our group (one large fry pan, no serving bowls and no large glasses, unless you count the wine goblets). We could not find any hangers, which seemed a bit strange, considering the large closets in each bedroom. The property was not cleaned well when we arrived. Dirty towels were left in the bedroom closet and the floor was filthy as evidenced by our black socks after taking off our shoes, per the sign in the entryway. The house smelled of cigarette smoke when we entered and the air conditioner had been turned off before our arrival leaving the house at 87 degrees. It took all night for the house to finally cool down which made the first part of our stay very uncomfortable. Finally, the backyard was "under construction" and became a mud pit after it rained the first night making it difficult to take our dog out. Very disappointing as we had paid a pet fee to bring him along.

We loved the home and the views were spectacular. Only drawback was a bedroom on the main floor had a trundle bed where my husband and I slept. I little uncomfortable on the bottom bed, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much. Home was clean, beautiful kitchen, sitting rooms and patios. We would recommend especially for family groups.

Nice House & Location

The house is extremely spacious and located in a nice area. The large screen TV's were great to watch movies on. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook a "Friendsgiving" feast.

Gorgeous House, feels a bit sterile

The house is gorgeous and beautifully updated. It is in a nice community with great pools and a splash pad. One of the nicest and most updated houses I have stayed in, as well as they had toys downstairs for our little guy. The downsides were that the fourth bedroom isn’t really a bedroom and does not have an A/C vent in it, so I would really count it as a three bedroom house. Basement also does not have A/C. The bathroom layout was also funky (not all were next to the bedrooms), but all were nicely updated. It did feel a bit sterile - like it is only a rental and no one ever lives there. There was very little by way of “extras” like Saran Wrap, etc. Overall very lovely, if a few small drawbacks.

When we walked into the master bedroom the bed cover had visible stains. We realized the mattresses themselves had no mattress covers to protect the mattress and they had large urine stains on the mattress. Upstairs beds same urine stains and no mattress covers protect them. As for the rest of the house yes it looks pretty but the kitchen was also filthy. Every dish in the cupboard needed to be rewashed by hand. The stove and exhaust fan above the stove was filled with grease. Unfortunately I would not recommend this house to anyone until the owners which are a Corporation have people to clean it properly to protect the guest that are staying there.
