"Overall it was average, the room we were in did not have consistent air conditioning; tha cool would come on then off, Sheets and towels were grey from so many washings. Breakfast was advertised as deluxe continental with bagels and packaged danish, yogurt. Noisy with a group coming back after a party on Saturday night then fire alarm going off for 25 minutes at 1:45 am. No house keeping on weekends. "

The one snafu was my initially trying to procure a ride from the ferry to the hotel, calling earlier days: whomever answered calls or emails did not, but at the last minute came through and throughout our stay communication was excellent, caring kind staff, conditions beautiful, great location. Great first visit to Nantucket and Jared Coffin House."

"We were here for one night on a very short visit to Boston. The Irving house was perfect. Located very close to all amenities and nice walking sidewalks. Breakfast was rather elegant in a quaint area of the house. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was much bigger than it looked in the pictures. The beds were comfortable. "

"The location is great....middle of the action:). It seems a bit pricey, but again, the location is good for walking anywhere. The carpet in my room needs stretching to make it lay flat. There were umbrellas available, which was a nice touch."

"Our host Makala was excellent, She made us feel welcome and help us with accommodations, food, dinning and site seeing. It made our first trip to MV much better than expected. She deserves a great recognition, she is a natural. The property was quaint and comfortable"
