I hadn’t stayed here in nearly 40 years, and coming back was a truly nostalgic experience. The hotel still holds that welcoming feel I remembered from decades ago. The indoor pool was a highlight — clean, well-maintained, and a relaxing spot after a day out exploring. My only real complaint is that the in-room mini fridge didn’t have a freezer section. It’s a small thing, but would’ve been convenient. Still, being back in the Gloucester/Rockport area made the whole trip special. There’s something timeless about the rocky coastlines and the peaceful atmosphere here. If you're looking for a cozy stay , this place is a great choice.

We had a very nice stay at Rockport Inn and Suites. They have a fire pit/ patio area which was a lovely area to sit and talk and we ate dinner there one evening. The pool was an added bonus. The only negative were the sheets on my bed were paper thin and pilled. The elastic was gone on the fitted bottom sheet which was annoying. I requested housekeeping on third day and these sheets were lovely. Maybe they need to inspect and discard. On the whole our stay was quite pleasant.

Overall, our stay here was nice. The room was clean, but a bit more basic than expected based on the photos in the listing. It did have a microwave and mini fridge, which was appreciated as many hotels do not have these amenities anymore. The one real issue we had was with the Wi-Fi. The login info was provided, but it didn’t quite reach our room and we only had about one or two bars the entire time we were there and due to the location of the hotel we did not have great cell phone reception. The area is beautiful though, and the outdoor seating area was very comfortable. The pool does get taken over by lots of children, if you’re hoping for a relaxing swim. One other thing that was not an issue for us, but could be for people with mobility issues is that it was a pretty high step up to get into our room from the sidewalk. I do believe there are more easily accessible rooms, though in the main building.

We had a great stay at the Rockport Inn and Suites. I would absolutely stay there again. Rockport is the most beautiful town and this hotel is a couple minutes down the road from Bearskin Neck. Shopping, views, restaurants, art galleries, ocean front, and so much more. Our hotel room was cozy and the staff was accommodating. We will stay again next time we travel to Rockport!

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. The location was great- a short walk to catch the trolly in to town. Just ask staff exactly where to catch the trolley, as we initially had a hard time finding the actual trolly stop (it was down the street and around the corner). Like others have mentioned, the outside of the property could use some paint and other work, but our room was perfectly clean and comfortable for two nights.

The room was clean and large and the shower had enough room to move around in...water was hot and we had enough towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful.. I would bring my family back if we ever come back to this area....

Overall had a great stay. The hotel checked us in a little early which was nice after a redeye flight. The room was spacious enough for the three of us. The hotel includes breakfast, but it is nothing special. However, if you walk 3 minutes down the road you can have some of the best blueberry muffins you will ever have.
