「Conveniently located for the reasons I was in Halifax.
Room was extremely clean and well-maintained as was the Bathroom.
Quiet; Children living on floor above but their noise was minimal and normal for kids. All was quiet after their bedtime!!
Walkway to the private entrance at the back of the house was grass and ground uneven. The weather was sunny & warm during my stay, so was not a problem. Had it been rainy or winter conditions, it would have been slippery.」

「We enjoyed our stay very much! This place has so much to offer besides accomodation: access to the lake, table tennis, great breakfast with superpleasant hosts, laundry facilities, would deer occasionally visiting the front lawn ... If we are in Halifax again we'll definitely be back.」

「The Penthouse suite was beautiful and very well appointed. Linens were not of the quality expected of this kind of suite. Clean but very well used and showing wear and tear. The continental breakfast was not as described and was very underwhelming. The fridge was not stocked as described. It appeared that there was little maintenance done during our stay.」

「We arrived in the evening to find that we needed the code to enter. We called the number on the door and received a text with all the instructions for entry! Lovely room with lots of accents and knicknacks. Soft comfortable bed and lots of hot water. There was a restaurant on site with very good pub food. Great restful one night stay after 8 hours in flight.」
