“We were looking for a location close to Walla Walla and state parks (Palouse Falls). Dayton is a nice little city and Hardware Hotel is a great place to stay. Hotel was recently renovated with style. Rooms are large with high ceilings, well-equipped (good bedding and bathroom) and we loved the atmosphere. We received room# and access code in advance. No staff onsite but you still reach out if needed (phone or bar next to the lobby during hours)”

"As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
