finding peace after loss

Perfect

We loved our stay! Was perfect for a couple + dog. All you need and beautifully decorated. Reading about the original cabins in the welcome binder was an extra treat. We lucked out by visiting Cape Cod for the first time one day after labour day, opening up dog access and free parking to many beaches - First Encounter was our favourite.

Little cabin

The cabin was clean. Description was misleading, much too small, cramped and dark. This wasn’t a place where you could do anything but sleep. Last minute info for access, there was no host, or on-site presence- very isolating- and not in a good way. Gave only 2 stars because it was clean.

Not a great place to stay

The roof leaked and it was raining hard. We could not get into the unit until after 4 pm and the listing says 11 am check out but it was really 10 am. I will not stay here again.

Cute Cabin

Love how cozy this place is. The air conditioner was needed in the hot summer nights. However it was extremely loud and was very close to the bed. The guide was not helpful at all. The website says to put in "Eastham Cottages" when you can't find the location. We went to the address provided, which was actually 10-13 minutes further down of the actual location. The directions should say more specifically NOT to use the address, but just go with the name of the place to begin with to avoid wasting time.

Weekend getaway in Eastham

The property was wonderful. Exactly like the pictures. Perfect for my partner and me with our dog. There’s a walking trail in the back for the dog. Easy check in process - I actually accidentally locked us out of the place and I was able to easily call and get someone on the line to give me the code for the second lock box. Contactless and easy process. I will say this place is not in Wellfleet at all - it is in Eastham.

Cobweb in the shower, dirty windows and old blinds. Kitchen and rooms needed dusting. Very dark. Only good thing was the outdoors and rabbit.
