Orcas Sunset Retreat is a beautifully curated house that comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. Whether it be two families traveling together, a large extended family, a group of couples, or a Girl's Getaway, the layout and inviting common spaces will sure to make your stay relaxing. There is enough space for everyone to keep busy indoors and out.

Bedrooms
There are 3 bedrooms, all on the main floor (1 King, 2 Queens) + an upstairs sleeping loft (2 twins + fold-out couch) . We are permitted to sleep 9 guests. The Master and one of the Queen bedrooms boast ocean views. There are no shared walls between bedrooms, allowing for maximal privacy. The King and Queen bedrooms are all outfitted with high thread count, 100% cotton linens and brand new Casper memory foam mattresses. Each bedroom is tastefully designed to provide guests with a peaceful and luxurious refuge.

Bathrooms:
The house has 4 bathrooms. The en-suite master includes his/her sinks, a large soaking tub and walk-in shower. The three other bathrooms are all adjacent to each of the bedrooms (every bedroom can have its own bathroom!). All bathrooms are stocked with plush towels and all-natural shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

Kitchen:
We love cooking on vacation, so have made sure the kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware, chef's knives, and a plentitude of dishes and serving pieces. Appliances include a Viking stove, Bosch refrigerator and TWO dishwashers. We have covered all the basic appliances including coffee pot, french press, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, microwave, hand mixer, griddle, and crock pot. We also try to keep a supply of spices, oil, flour/sugar on hand as well, along with foil and saran wrap.

Living Room:
The living room is a large open concept living room with gas fireplace, ocean views, and plenty of comfy space for everyone to gather. There is a Smart TV ready for you to login to your Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, etc.. accounts, as well as a Bluetooth speaker. Or, you can spin a record on the Popsky turnable!

Dining area:
The dining room features a farmstyle, live-edge solid teak dining table brought in from Indonesia. It seats 8+ with 6 chairs and one long bench. It is perfect for family meals and/or board games. There are also 4 stools at the kitchen island for additional seating, as well as an outdoor dining table for summer meals al fresco.

Loft:
The upstairs loft has two twin beds with memory foam toppers and one fold-out sofa. This is a fun hang out for the kids with the couch, large bean bag chair, and TV (with Amazon fire stick) & DVD player. We have a ton of books, games, dress up clothes, and DVDs to keep kids busy when not out exploring the island and outdoors. Further, the loft has its own air conditioner (sometimes needed in the summer) and sky lights, keeping the room light & bright. Fortunately, this space is comfortable and cute enough that adults won't mind sleeping there if needed.

Study:
The main floor study provides a desk and leather chair if work is calling. This is also where you'll find find a selection of books, games, and puzzles.

Outdoor space:
The Orcas Sunset Retreat is situated on 3 private acres boasting magnificent ocean views, an expansive lawn, forested areas on the perimeter, and even a small sping-fed pond. Spotting wildlife such as deer, ducks, and bald eagles are everyday experiences. In the ocean view backyard, you will be spoiled with a large outdoor deck with dining table, gas grill, patio with fire pit & adirondack chairs, and hot tub. In the front, enjoy relaxing on the front porch swing or spending time relaxing by the spring-fed pond. ** The pond is located in the front of the property approximately 100 ft from the house. It is not appropriate for swimming and does not have a fence surrounding it. Please exercise caution around the pond, especially if you have young children.**
