Lovely stay right on the water

Literally the first house off the town, this little house was perfect for our short time in Orcas. Superb location, spotless, cozy, peaceful, and views to write home about.

Kayaking Trip

Stayed here three nights while traveling through the NW on a kayaking trip. This was our favorite stop. Beautiful home and fantastic location. Hope to come back again.

Worth the $

Great place; as advertised. Peaceful setting. Spendy with the VRBO fees, etc. added on, but I can’t say it’s not worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

This was our first time to the SAN Juan’s and orcas island. We couldn’t have picked a better spot the beach was beautiful and it was close to town. The house was a good size for my wife and I and our two small children. We will definitely be staying again when we come back.

Luxurious accommodations, beautiful view, close to town

Had a lovely stay. The landscaping and view were gorgeous, and we loved the hot-tubbing while overlooking Ship Bay. Very close to Eastsound, a very cute town. Out on the deck, you’re a little exposed to the noise of car traffic, but we thought it was a small price to pay for the rest. Overall fantastic, would stay again!

Comfy house with great views

The Beach House was a perfect place to stay on Orcas Island! The house itself was well appointed, and the deck in particular was a relaxing place to sit with a magnificent view overlooking Ship Bay. The house was just a minute or two from Eastsound, and just a few minutes the other way to Moran State Park. We'd definitely stay here again for a return trip!

Perfection

Second time staying here - it is a retreat, a hideaway, a sanctuary. Peaceful, clean, comfortable, with a wonderful hottub, fireplace, views. I wouldn't change a thing and recommend it to anyone for a romantic getaway.

This is without a doubt the nicest rental property we've ever rented. The view is unparalleled, gorgeous grounds and landscaping, extremely private, classy elegant decor yet also super cozy and comfortable. Quite simply, you're making a huge mistake if you don't stay here!

Prefect Stay

Cottage and location were prefect. Spent time on the decks watching the birds and a river otter in the sound. The cottage was furnished with everything we needed plus beautiful decor. Loved the Asian garden. We are hoping to return to Beach House in the future. This was our second visit to Orcas Island. Prefect weather to explore the island.

Amazing Home

You know when you book a property and expect to walk in and have the place look like the pictures, but then you are a bit disappointed? Well let me tell you that this home EXCEEDED the pictures listed! Super clean, great location, AMAZING view and access to the beach! We will definitely stay here again. Also, if you decide to eat in town you must try Monti Italian restaurant. It was soooo yummy with a great atmosphere!

Forty year celebration

We were married in Washington State 40 years ago, so we went back for our anniversary. We go back to Washington frequently to visit family, but it was an awesome visit in the San Juan Islands and reminded us of how much we love it. Your home made this celebration even better…the view was amazing and sitting in the jacuzzi admiring the view after a day of hiking was a perfect way to celebrate 40 years together. Thanks for sharing your place!!!

Fabulous water views and gorgeous house

The property is beautiful with stunning views. It is spacious and very comfortable. It looks exactly like the photos online. The kitchen is well stocked and the property manager responded quickly to a few questions I had. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to return. The house is within walking distance of Eastsound, but it is about a 15 - 20 walk, so I mostly drove. It is also conveniently located to various hiking locations. There is some road noise from Crescent Beach Drive if you are sitting outside. All in all, a very relaxing stay.

Lovely cottage & stunning setting!

Recommend this cozy, upscale getaway best suited for a couple. Comfortable furniture, wonderful views, private beach access from property's board walk with (many) stairs, walk or drive into Eastsound. 4 stars due to an exterior heating unit (for hot tub?) on the other side of the bed's headboard that was heard throughout the night (I am light sleeper). Also, there is no opportunity to allow fresh air (and enjoy loon calls) next to the bed as the window is fixed and there is no screen on the door. Note there are 3 small operational windows in an alcove away from the bed on the street side.

A Perfect Escape

This was absolutely lovely. The house was clean and cozy. Nicely decorated without being too busy. The bed was a little on the soft side for me (a firm mattress person) but it was still very comfortable. My partner and I slept so well while we were here. The hot tub was perfectly relaxing and the view was amazing. This was a little break from our busy schedules as performers to celebrate our anniversary and we enjoyed every second of it and left fully charged! Extra points for being simultaneously so close to the town that it was always convenient to pop over to get food and things, but still secluded enough for peace. I've already suggested this to several performer friends and we are looking for a time to head back. Absolutley recomend.

Beautiful Getaway on Orcas

The Beach House was very clean and comfortable. There is a great view of the bay and neat path just outside that leads down to the water. We had trouble with the wi-fi, but we had a personal hot spot so we were ok. We had a little trouble with the regulation of the water temperature in the shower - too cold then too hot, but it was manageable. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we slept pretty well. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and bath soap as there was just a little provided. The landscaping is beautiful. We also enjoyed the fact it was so close to East Sound, but felt like we were way out by ourselves at the ocean. We would recommend to others looking for a great place to stay on Orcas Island. The Inn at Ship's Bay - fabulous dinner!!! Only about three minutes away.

Scenic island getaway

Quaint modern villa tucked within the forested garden with spectacular views of the San Juan Islands. Abundant views of wildlife and convenient access to the parks for recreation. The high end kitchen is well equipped. Stop by Buck Bay Shellfish and Enjoy fresh seafood dinners on the deck. Truly peaceful.
