Great cottage in perfect location to explore Orcas Island

We loved our stay in the Eastsound cottage. It was close enough to walk into town and centrally located for exploring the island. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the deck to watch beautiful moonrise.

Just perfect!

I had the most wonderful time at this cottage and didn't want to leave! It was perfect for a solo trip - easy to get to town, loveliest view, and all the amenities you would need. Can't wait to return!

Amazing views from the deck and bed at this property! Would recommend for only two people as the space is quite small. Walking distance to Eastsound made it worthwhile.

Nice cottage with a great view

We had a great stay at Wild Currant and the host is very communicative and was great. The cottage has a nice view and is well maintained. It is right on the edge of Eastsound and was a perfect home base for exploring the island. We hope to stay in Wild Currant again on the future.

Great Cabin for Couples Retreat

Wild Currant Cottage makes for a great home base from which to explore all the San Juan Islands has to offer. The cabin is well equipped, clean, and comfortable, with an easy walk to town and a short drive to parks, beaches, and hiking trails. The only downside is the traffic noise which is not an issue at night and not enough of an annoyance to keep us from booking again.

Beautiful stay on Orcas

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was clean and beautiful and easy walking distance to the main part of Eastsound. It was a great getaway while being right off the main road. We loved the space and was perfect to be able to cook, read outside, and explore Orcas. Sherri was responsive and super helpful. Thank you!

More amazing than the photos

The photos posted don’t do the place justice. The view is amazing. I was worried because it’s close to a main road (though the road means you’re two minutes from shops and food), but the trees mostly block the sound. Also the house is extraordinarily sound proof. The binder of info is helpful! One suggestion would be to leave it out so it’s easier to find.Great space and hope to return!

Perfect and cozy for our needs over a very hopping last week of summer. Could get to everywhere and just above the busy life of the town. Walking distance to town and serene.All amenities and fully stocked kitchen. Very easy and I would definitely recommend!

Walk to town was on shoulder of busy road but it was a nice short walk for sure. Ceiling fan blades need a much needed cleaning as well as the kitchen sink grates. The bathroom heater is let's say not worth using. Overall the cottage was a nice place to stay.

Nice, neat, small place

Very clean, comfortable, centrally located accom. Nice view of East Sound. Close to town (walkable). Good for 2 people. Gets noisy when day gets busy (cars, trucks, aircraft) but, you are close to things. Good value for $$.

Orcas

We were totally pleased with the property. Great view, great location, all amenities provided. Beware that most restaurants are closed on weekdays so you may be cooking, but the kitchen overlooks the inlet so cooking was lovely and you have everything needed to make a meal. Orcas is hands down the best San Juan Island for scenery, hiking and relaxation.

AWESOME TIME!

We had an amazing time during our stay. The cozy cottage was clean and with an amazing view. The property manager was communicative at all times making sure we didn't need anything.
