Its average for a hotel it use to have nice comfy couch and chairs in the lobby to realx now the chairs are different not very comfy. Plus the entry door at end of hotel isnt locked anyone coulf come in the hotel that way thats not good for security.

They didn’t tell us that there would be a pet deposit. After showing up at the front desk, they told us it was a $30 pet deposit. Which I am not aware if this applies to every hotel, since this is the first time we stay at a hotel with our dogs tbh. We kept hearing the door open and shut every time guests would arrive, even though it says that their rooms are sound proof. The cleanliness wasn’t too bad, but the two queen beds had some stains on the bed mattress pad. Also the shampoo was all out when we got there. They have the dispensers, which had the brand Dove, but the shampoo was completely done. Other than that, I would say it’s alright. Didn’t get to enjoy their pool, or breakfast. And it’s about 13 mins of a drive if you want to be in Eau Claire.

This hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly. Also enjoyed the pool, the hot tub was hot and the pool was cool but not cold!

I liked the sound proof room very much...but each time an employee back entrance door was closed, I felt and heard an enormous 'boom' in my 2nd story room. In the Supreme King suite, you can feel the aftershock. There was various hairs leftover in the room's cracked and old jetted tub with old yellowed and cracking dials. The bathroom light flickered on and off and and some other lights in the room were just plain broken. The lobby was very clean and welcoming, with gentle piano music playing at all times. The staff were kind, capable and quick at check in and check out. After check in, they directed me to an upstairs room with only access being stairs. First room at the top of the stairs is "Ron's Room", I know this because a handwritten paper sign stating this is taped to the door. Lol The issues weren't deal breakers to me and I still enjoyed my stay. I appreciate the experience, but finding the humor in it was essential.

The staff was friendly and room was really big however the door to the bedroom was broken and although they told us at check in, i didn't expect it to be so broken that it would not stay closed. We paid extra for the room with separate bedroom for privacy bc we had our two kids with us too. The broken door meant we could not stay up to watch tv while they slept, we could not keep our light on while they slept. It ended up being so inconvenient. But we were in town for a funeral so figured no point in canceling with just one night left. I think they should not have listed that room is available bc it really needed repair. Or offered discount when check in at least. I paid an upgrade and didn't get it. Also breakfast was a disappointment. I've stayed at anericinn before but they barely had a breakfast. For the price they charge i expected at least a decent break fast. Waffles cereal and packaged donuts is hardly a breakfast. I could have stayed at the newer hotel for better breakfast. I only booked this one for bigger room and location but will not again. They need to lower their price for what you get. The staff though was very friendly.

Older Hotel needs a few things fixed
Check in was a long process. The gal working said she'd only been working for 2 months. She took her time and started telling me about her personal life and her brother. All I wanted to do was get to my room. She was on her personal cell phone talking to her Mom. Then she told me that she didnt know if my room was clean because it wasnt checked off. Check in was a hassle. A bit disappointed about pool. Its not very well lighted. The key/kiosk doesn't work to get into pool doors. The hot tub was out of order. The pool area looked a bit dingy, wet, and slippery. The ice machine is out of order. Our room had duct tape over a damaged door. A bit tacky. Overall we felt safe, it was quiet, and clean. I felt the price and rates are a bit high.

When we showed up at the property they informed us that we werent allowed to stay there. They werent allowing locals because they have been having some issues with partying. I feel we should have been informed of that before booking instead of having a 30 minute conversation to convince them to let the pregnant woman to stay. (No partying for this girl) Thankfully we were able to put a different address down and were allowed to stay but it was not a good experience.

Just fine
In town for a family event, it was really just a place to sleep. Staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious and remodeled. Beds were comfy. Waffles and pancakes were fun at breakfast, but some sort of protein would have been great. Pool area was nice.

Staff was excellent! Front desk lady let us check in early, and was very pleasant the couple of times I ran into her during the stay. Hotel and room seem to be a bit run down. I can tell that renovations are being made, but our room needed several touchups. For instance, toilite seat was in bad shape, and rusty. The beadboard was supposed to have plug ins and charges on both side, just one side had one, the other was missing. Not a big deal, but the little things matter sometime. I'm sure next time we visit, it will be fixed.

Hello Lindsey, Your review and rating are greatly appreciated; though it is very disappointing to learn of the bad impression we made during your recent stay due to the condition of our hot tub. We are forever working to improve upon the guest experience, and I hope you will remember our attributes when you return during another trip to the area to see how we have improved to impress you even more.

The hot tub was in not working condition, the pool room was so cold we were shivering. We asked staff to turn heat up and she stated it was 86 degrees and it was about 50 degrees in reality. No pool towels available to dry off with.

Pros: *Staff was wonderful upon check in *Room was clean and comfortable upon entry *Hotel was quiet *Parking was easy *Breakfast is included (although very limited) Cons: *Whirlpool was still dirty in the room, we did have to wipe down and run a cycle with soap before we were able to comfortably use. *Lights on the sides of the bed flickered the entire time when on *We were excited to use the pool, unfortunately, it was unbearably cold so we were not able to utilize this *Hot tub in the pool area was drained and not operational *The hot breakfast options only consists of waffles and pancakes. No meat or egg options.

No hot tub !
Overall the hotel is good, but the hot tub has supposedly been down for almost 2 years now. It has always been assured that Americinn hotels have a hot tub, so I was disappointed to find that this one has been inoperable for so long

Okay
Stay was okay, but was upset to find out that the hot tub was not working, and hasn't worked for 2 years. Will not stay there again because of this.

It was decent, mostly clean, in the middle of renovation so you could see they were making an effort to keep that mess at a minimum. The breakfast was seriously lacking options, and the rooms and pool area were super dark, it was almost eerie. But overall it was nice enough that I would stay again. $20/ dog pet fee was vary reasonable as well.

Ok, just not Great
First off, nothing was said about the hot tub not open. Also, the toilet in our room wasn’t working right. We weren’t able to deadbolt the door. Their was an empty pillowcase just laying under the desk. The air conditioner was really loud, I had to explain to my daughter to try and use it as white noise. I was hoping to mention this when checking out, but I had to use the phone and give them my room number. Plus the phone was cutting it so I’m not sure if they even heard me. Left the keys on the desk and that was it.

The evening front desk woman ( who has her front tooth missing) was obviously inebriated. I don’t believe that she was drunk, but definitely on something. She was nice and funny but made me and my children uncomfortable with her conversation, actions and jokes. The other parents in our families who stayed there as well, stated the same things.

Fair quality
The bathroom drain in room was dirty, there was not much of a breakfast offered and some staff were not friendly. I do understand the difficulties of being understaffed, so I need to cut them some slack.

Our TV didn’t work and tried to fix it once. It kept going out and nothing was done. Did not want to even step in the shower. Very loud.
