"staying at Maison D’eclaibes was the most memorable stay of our two week trip to Europe. My favorite quiet environment in the countryside. The host listened to my limited English conversation. And for my wife love of boiled beans. And the next morning it came out for breakfast. Please continue staying at this inn forever. If possible, i would like to visit again someday. Thank you so much."

"A beautiful property in a quiet location. Bags of facilities, with charming and thoughtful service. Excellent food and a copious breakfast, with delicious organic fruit, cheese, meat and drink from the farm and other local producers. Ideal as a stop over travelling to or from the UK, or as a romatic getaway in the country."

"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. We offered him our credit card but he asked for cash and it wasn’t till the next morning I discovered that we had indeed pre-paid. The...

"Absolutely shocking. Arrived at 7.20pm. Check in was between 5-8pm. No sign of anyone. Phoned both phone numbers and messaged via hotel.com - no answer from property. Waited there for an hour. We were extremely tired after leaving the UK at 7am!!! Had to find another hotel at ann extra cost. Eventually arrived around 9pm. Hotel owner phoned me at 10.38pm, waking us up, to ask where we were and apologise! What a joke. A formal complaint has been made to hotel.con who were extremely helpful...
