You may have to park a kilometer from the apartment on very tight narrow streets. This location is 25 meters from what is considered the city center. “Paula was a top rank host. Quick to respond, thoughtful, and helpful. The kitchen is smallish but pretty well equipped. Reims is a great side trip, of course, but so is chalone-en-champagne. We had many excellent meals. Best was probably Why Not, much more elegant than the name suggests. Was not wowed by Grillade Gourmand.If you are serious about champagne, I recommend you arrange visits with some small growers. The large house tours are fun but not as interesting.”
