We secured this condo last minute to enjoy a few days with our four kids before dropping one off at camp. When we got inside, it seemed clean at first, but the more we explored, the dirtier it got. Pubic hairs all around the upstair's toilet, poop splatter under the lid and around the sides of the toilet. I found a dirty face cloth in the vanity cabinet. The master bathroom has a door to the outside patio. We touched the handle to go out and the entire handle fell off. We had zero hot water and called the Vacaso number 2 times and were told the local manager tried calling us the third time we called. I checked my cell. Nothing. No call. It got a little warm on our last morning before check out. There were crumbs (big) in the kitchen drawers, a sticky black substance in the sink, and the oven had burned spilled food in it. We decided on the condo since it had a swimming pool, which our kids were insistent on. The hot tub was a deep yellow. The pool area smelled as if muriatic acid was poured all over and our kids' and my eyes burned when we went in. We called management to tell them. They had no idea. Then workers near the pool house told us the hot tub was closed (a sign was removed) but they thought the pool was ok to swim in. Ummmm...it wasn't. The noise from trucks crossing the route 1 bridge at night woke us up throughout the night. Also, the condo adjoins a banquet hall, which was not advertised. A wedding took place the Saturday we were there and guests smoked all late afternoon/evening underneath the outside patio. It was very noisy. The only plus was the location. It was a quick drive to Boothbay.
