I have never stayed at a B&B before. A wonderful surprise. A warm and extremely helpful host, comfortable accomdations, great breakfast, and a great way to enjoy a stay in a great city.

Les propriétaires sont supers, très gentils et aux petits soins. Ils font un super petit déjeuner servi à table. L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais il y a un arrêt de bus juste en face, en 10mn on est au centre ville.

Absolutely brilliant

Well we are heading home and am writing a review i can’t wait to share! This is a beautiful boutique hotel!! Just Amazing.... the care and attention to guests it’s so heartwarming. Paul and Johnny are such lovely people! Accommodation beautifully finished, the communal areas, orangery and house is gorgeous and decorated with flair and taste. You may even be lucky enough to meet molly! The food served for breakfast was phenomenal and hand crafted with care, thought and passion by Paul. If you ever go to Edinburgh, stay here it’s just fabulous. 20 minute walk to the centre. Very highly recommended, a must!! Never have we been made to feel so welcome.

We were unfortunately only there for one night but would have liked to stay longer. The hosts were wonderful and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at a guest house. Porridge was delicious!

Very friendly hosts, and a superb breakfast every morning. Close to public transport a few minutes travel to the city relaxing lounge to enjoy a quiet drink. Exceptionally clean rooms and bathroom.

Perfect place for a weekend stay in Edinburgh!

This is the second time we have stayed at 94DR and couldn’t recommend it more! We’ve stayed in the small room both times as it’s the best value for money, so it was a little small but perfectly fine for the 2 of us considering we didn’t spend that much time in the room. Paul and John are awesome and are so helpful sharing their extensive local knowledge (especially around where to eat!). It’s a great location as it’s out of the city centre but with a bus stop right outside the front door. We never waited more than a few minutes for a bus and getting an Uber into the city centre was also quick and easy. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, and Mollie the dog really added to the overall charm!

The House and rooms are amazing, very clean, cosy and decorated. The two hosts John and Paul are very caring, helpful, funny and downright lovely. And the breakfast, each morning indivdually prepared by Paul and John, is an absolute treat!

This place is a jewel!

94 DR is an amazing boutique setting. We received wonderful service for an entire week. Lovely setting, very comfortable. Bonus was the gorgeous morning meals, provided by our hosts. Gourmet, yet nutritious and delicious. Finally, we received incredibly helpful services - car services, restaurant reservations, recommendations for memorable outings, etc. One of our favorite stays anywhere!

Stylish and fun

Very friendly welcome, lovely place to stay. The owners are very sociable, the breakfast is out of this world, the building is stylish. The view from Tamdhu is beautiful.

We really liked the owners. John and Paul were extremely helpful suggesting restaurants and transportation options for getting around. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Our particular room was on the small side but the lounge area on the main level provided a comfortable place to relax and to possibly partake of an array of fine beverages.

Wonderful hotel!

I have never met such nice hotel owners! Paul and John are extremely helpful and welcoming! The breakfast is one of the best I have ever eaten, now i understand why everyone praises it! A modern and nice hotel with a familiar feeling. We will be back!

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay. John and Paul are excellent hosts. Our rooms were beyond clean and well appointed. Paul is a terrific cook and made us some fabulous breakfasts. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Nous avons beauoup aimé notre séjour de 3 nuits au 94DR. Style mélant à la fois le côté contemporain et le charme de l'ancien. Superbe vue sur Arthur's Seat depuis notre chambre. Les petits déjeuners étaient exceptionnels, les meilleurs de nos 2 semaines en Ecosse et pris dans une belle orangerie. Accueil avenant de la part de Paul à notre arrivée.
