This was our 2nd time visiting Edinburgh and stayed inside the city center this trip, what a great choice! The Novotel Edinburgh Center Hotel is in a great location to downtown. It is accessible by car with onsite parking, walkable to all the major tourist attractions, lots of food options and a grocery store one block (Sainsbury’s) from the hotel. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The on site restaurant has a lot of different food options. Would recommend this hotel for its convenience and location.

Good location/pleasant experience

Good location. Size and comfort of the rooms was good too. Beds comfortable. Wish the toilet and bathroom were attached. Its inconvenient to use the toilet in one spot and have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. Expensive as well.

Few issues with the room - tv didn’t work upon arrival and we were travelling with children , the room was really dirty and had an asthma flare up - i had to keep asking reception to help without them doing a lot. they had run out of hypo-allergenic pillows and had to ask a couple of times - i also requested the room to be cleaned and it wasn’t. i wouldn’t recommend for anyone with allergies or asthma as no ventilation in the rooms. overall the hotel was nice and good choice at breakfast which is served till 11 at weekends and there is a late checkout of 12 which was excellent. the pool was cold but the facilities were nice

It was clean and comfortable. There is a small on site parking lot that we were able to use, which was very convenient for our car rental. They had an excellent breakfast buffet that is included with your stay. I would say they do need update the carpet and furniture in the room we stayed in, it is looking worn.
