The property is an old building built in 1554. This creates a historical and romantic atmosphere that you enjoy in the inner garden, listening to old Turkish music and enjoying your Turkish tea which was fantastic by the way. However; the amenities may benefit from some modernization and uplift.

The location of the hotel is right in the ce tre of the old town, about 5-6 min walk from Selimiye mosque. The Kervansaray itself is amazing, very historical, looks great with nice lounging space right outside the room. The courtyard is beautifully lit in the evening, just stunning to look at. Unfortunately, the rooms could have been better looked after. There is a bad smell in some of the rooms, they could have been at least aired before guest arriving. The toiletries were not enough, soap was old, toiletries holder was rusty, sink was moving and the showers don't have doors. We were very pleased to stay in a historical building like that but if the rooms were better looked after, the whole experience would have been perfect. Also, the stairs leading to the first floor were a killer to someone with slight mobility issues.

The historic value of the property makes it a great choice; it has a unique charm. Rooms where comfortable, and the food was good. The staff could improve on their English and customer service abbilities. I would recommend others to stay in this nice hotel.

An outstanding place

This is perhaps the most outstanding and unique place we have ever stayed in Turkey. As a renovated caravanserai, it meets both the high level expectation for comfort and the expectation for something "totally different" and historically important. The site is beautifully renovated, it feels like a luxury resort, and the experience it provided was memorable, even remarkable. We loved this place and highly recommend it for anyone seeking an authentic Turkish experience with contemporary amenities. OUTSTANDING!!!

Nice historical facilities, although they could have done a better job with the bathrooms. Dining facilities is rather limited while breakfast needs to be improved. Recommend not to take breakfast with the room rate, if that’s an option. Staff are very helpful.

Decided to splurge for this historic hotel in Edirne, as we already been a few times and stayed in smaller, cheaper hotels. The good: location is wonderful, in the walking dead center of town, in the hearth of the shopping district. Parking is included/free and adjacent to the hotel, but part of a busy street, so challenging to get in and out safely. The building is striking in beauty and grandeur, with 2 inner courts, used for restaurant and coffee/bar. Great ambiance and vintage feel! The bad: save your money, it’s not worth the stay: we waited 20min for a single receptionist to show up and book us in; we paid for specific room with city view, was given a main floor one with no windows, where the toilet wasn’t working; upon complaint, we’re relocated to 2nd floor room with a single window, that had the bathroom sink not draining; we requested extra bedding that never arrived, after 2 calls for it; customer service is non- existent! The famous Turkish hospitality- abandoned! Place is hugely understaffed and unmaintained! It has a great potential to be something extraordinary, but it’s mediocre at best! Breakfast is included, but poor and basic!! The bed is ok, the pillows are overstuffed. There’s small fridge in the room. Bathroom is a tiny, wet room with poor, ancient plumbing, no separate shower. The wait to check out was long, no invoice ready, even though prearranged. Very disappointing experience, poor value for your money! Will NOT RECOMMEND OR STAY THERE AGAIN!

Very cool hotel

The staff are warm and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The common areas are spectacular. A very cool property with inspiring views of the mosque. Room had great AC. Bed very comfortable. Small. Little natural light. Very clean but quite small bathroom. I would give it a higher overall rating but found the continuous piped in music in the adjoining common area is much too high volume—it is a hotel, for sleep, after all. Really cool place!

The building was beautiful, the location was brilliant, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and there was always someone in reception. The restaurant was good and the staff there were great too. The taxis were just around the corner, shops and restaurants just outside the entrance. My single room was very cute, it had everything, but the TV was a challenge.

Odalar küçüktü tek yatagın sığabileceği sekildeydi,İnsan bazen sırtını dayayabileceği ser bir koltuk arıyor ama mekanın küçüklüğünden dolayı bir şey yapılamaz fakat banyo kısmında duş ile klozet arasına bir perde yada akardion seklinde açılır kapanır bir bariyer olursa lavabo ve tuvalet dolayısıyla orada bulunan ürünlerde ıslanmamış olacaktır.oda da bulunan çay su kahve iki kişi için bir günlük kullanım miktarı kadar diğer günlerde kendiniz tedarik etmeniz gerekiyor. Kahvaltısı gayet yeterliydi, ve doyurucuydu. çalışanlar güleryüzlü, işlerini bilen gneç dinamik kişilerden oluşuyor.
