  • Looking to escape the city lights and see bright stars for a few days?

    This private log home is nestled among the maples, cedars, spruce, and birch trees. The landscaping is beautiful with three gardens for your pleasure with flowers that bloom from spring to fall. It also has a fire pit that looks out over the lake that you can enjoy during a beautiful sunset.

    Make the Bayside Log Home your vacation home this year. It has 225' of shore frontage with its beautiful sunsets. Enjoy the wind blowing through your hair while gazing upon the water.

    There is a sandy public beach for swimming and fishing within walking distance of the home as well.

    This property has been rented for 10 years but we had to create a new page this year hence the reason for limited reviews. In the past, our place was a 4.6 star.

Thoughly enjoyed the accommodations and you can not beat the view. Just far enough away to enjoy the peaceful setting but close enough to all that Door County offers. Would stay again.

Such a cozy cabin with the most beautiful view of the lake! Loved the loft area with ample space to spread out and relax. It was rustic, but had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend in Door County. It was close to the heart of Egg Harbor, but secluded enough to feel like you had the lake to yourself. We cannot wait to come back!

We loved staying here. Close to the Door County Triathlon in Murphy Park. Loft beds were a little warm - the AC had a hard time keeping up. Cannot beat the view! Perfect place to watch the sunset and then enjoy the fire pit. Hoping for some water toys for the next visit :)

The Cabin was great. The location was perfect. It was very close to everything, but very secluded. We enjoyed exploring Door County during the day, and coming home to a fire in the fire pit every night. The communication with the property owner was excellent and he gave us some great ideas of where to go.

Breathtaking Views

The jewel of this rental is it's location. It was so peaceful. The lake view and sounds of the waves lapping on shore provided us many hours of relaxation as we simply sat by the lake and listened, or enjoyed morning coffee as the sun rose. My husband really enjoyed the fire pit. The cabin is a bit dated and could use some refreshing, but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful setting on the lake. Quiet, secluded, very private. Nice place, very clean. Could tell it was well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much. One small issue was we believed that there was a outside grill but there was not. We adapted, but others may not. Overall a great relaxing stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful cozy cabin. It was immaculate, well furnished and had the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in.
