"Clean room"

"We had a good stay at Hotel Palau Fugit, but instead of the room I booked (courtyard facing with patio) we were assigned a front facing room with balcony. It was a nice room, so I decided not to insist on a change. However… noisy revellers in the street outside until the early hours didn’t make for a peaceful night’s sleep. If you’re considering this place I’d definitely insist on a rear courtyard room. Staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was very good. The sofa in our room didn’t face the TV, which was odd as this meant only one person could view it (we didn’t fancy rearranging the room). My husband had tapas from room service, which he said were excellent. We didn’t use the pool as it was very small and unheated - but would be a bonus in the height of summer. We used the hotel’s parking service which was in a covered car park 10 minutes’ walk away. All in all, a pleasant stay marred only by the room switch and noise."

"Spotless room, amazing soundproofing windows, staff really friendly. Great little area in reception to make coffee for 1 euro and a fridge with water/soft drinks/snacks all at an actual reasonable price. Would recommend and return"

"Cycling trip to Girona for 5. Very central location, close to dozens of restaurants, patios, ice cream, coffee etc. The apartment was a reasonable size and had the amenities we needed. Up the stairs with a bike was a tight squeeze but manageable. Very easy check in, and we had two keys for entry. An App for entry was provided but had spotty operation. Beds were nice, linens and towels very good. Lots going on in the area and right out front of the apartment. We had a magic show, clowns, a drum show and a full orchestra right below the balcony throughout our stay. Lots of fun and great energy. Great trip and fantastic riding!"

"Beautiful spacious room. Amazing shower with strong water pressure. Memorable in that regard. Excellent breakfast too! Lots of choices. Smoked salmon, yogurt with chia, guacamole, hummus, delicious breads, in addition to the standard fare. Once again memorable. "

"Great hotel around 20 minute walk into centre but also on bus route. Great pool area and breakfast had plenty of choice and well presented . Definitely stay here again."

"Staff were amazing, helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was very good, nice variety and specialty coffees. The rooms are a bit shabby, with the floor tiles broken in spots and very minimal amenities. The location is very quiet and double windows to block out sound. The air conditioning was not good, very weak and doesn’t get very cool. Not a problem for us in April but by summer it would be very uncomfortable. Ike storage in the basement was fantastic, able to clean and lock the bikes overnight was a real advantage."

"The front desk staff were excellent. The rooms itself have much to be desired. I felt like was back at my old college dorm and that was 30 years ago. The bed was small, pillows weren’t great and the ac never got the room cool. Luckily it was cooler out and we opened the window. Location was good. "
