"There are a lot of good things aboit this property. The one thing that is troubling is the number of homeless people living just off the premises. This is something Ted Toof Inn has no control over."

"Room was disgustingly unclean with stains and hair in the bed with smoke residue covering every surface. Outlets failing to work the list goes on on the lack of effort put in by the hotel. They outsource there front desk staff via a machine that struggles to assist its in a timely manner. Worst of all it’s one of the first times I feel genuinely scammed as I’ve received no refund or communication from the hotel for not only my room but the 2nd room was never given to me ever."

"Hotel lobby was probably the best part of the hotel. Rooms were decent and clean, but definitely needed some maintenance. The bathroom drains weren't clearing properly and a few of the lights in the room didn't work. The AC also has issues. The staff at the front were very friendly and helpful though. However, location was questionable. It's in close proximity to almost everything you need from food to clothing, but the area is surrounded with homeless, something we didn't know until we got there. They don't bother, but on the 2nd night, we ended up checking out early the next morning due to gunshots in the parking lot at 3am. We got no sleep after that and ended up checking out early and moving over to Chandler. Thankfully we paid at the hotel itself, so they were able to refund us for the night we weren't going to use. Overall, aside from the crazy second night, it was a decent hotel, but we won't be back."

"Staffing all friendly and helpful. Small restaurant but served good food. Also friendly staff there too. Valet was pricey but efficient. No street parking available. Only minor issue is housekeeping cleans rooms every other day. Did not expect that, so For a family of 4, we had to request more bath towels."

"We needed a place to lay our heads for one night in Phoenix not too far from the airport and found it at the Downtown Hotel. It's more a two-story motel with a central parking lot monitored by video surveillance. Someone checked us in without delay when we arrived a little past midnight, having reserved it only an hour previous. Our only complaints were cosmetic: the handle of the mini fridge fell off, and the paint was peeling around the floor molding in the bathroom. The sun blazed through the uncurtained bathroom window in the morning such that I had to wear sunglasses to enter. But our praise is cosmetic too: Bowie pillow and abstract wall paint for the win! I wouldn't hesitate to overnight here again. Thanks very much."

"El departamento está muy limpio , excelente ubicación , cuenta con estacionamiento y muchas amenidades pero solo un detalle , cuando reviso las sábanas me encuentro con tag que les ponen a maletas al viajar de otra persona lo cual me indica que no lavaron las sábanas ."

"Our first room was fine until we tried to shower but there wasn’t a faucet. We had to move to another room and that one didn’t have the same locking mechanisms for the front door so we were a little nervous. We noticed we were also connected to the room next to us through a door and that lock was also flimsy. We moved one of the side tables in front to block the entrance. You’re right along the highway and the area has a bit of “activity”. Lots of people coming in and out the area, kind of sketchy. We enjoyed the price but as women, we were a little scared."
