With only sand between you and the Pacific Ocean, this large beach house has 2,400 sq. ft. of interior living space, full shade covered patio on the oceanside, and a huge second floor observation deck with its own palapa and built-in features to enhance whale watching. A unique outside living room serves as the main entrance to the house.

Two bedrooms, each with private bath, feature additional exterior entrances. The master bedroom has a king size bed; the second bedroom a queen. Mature landscaping surrounds an elegant pool. Also an outdoor shower near the pool, and multiple outdoor lounges. If additional space is needed for a larger group, the casita on the adjoining lot may be rented.

Additional outdoor living includes a huge palapa next to a lagoon-style solar heated pool, and a large oceanfront terrace with gas fire pit for nighttime entertainment.

We are surfer friendly, and close to two of the world's best surf breaks. We will help you arrange for adventure tours, water recreation activities, private massage and/or yoga sessions, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding on the beach or in the mountains. The night sky is amazing, a truly unforgettable stargazing experience.

The property is walled on three sides, with the ocean on the 4th side. There are two homes on two separate lots within the compound. The homes are offset for maximum privacy, with landscaping, pool, and palapa between them. Not suitable for young children under 10 due to the un-fenced pool and desert plants.

Villa del Mar has free WIFI for streaming from your TV accounts. Two social, friendly dogs, "Cassie," and "Oliver" have access to the entire property, so if you do not care for dogs keep that in mind before you book.

Everything you need for the beach is provided, including beach towels, beach umbrellas, cooler, boogie boards, and beach chairs.

The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics, plus coffee, tea, condiments, rice, sugar and normal staples. Appliances include a range, coffee maker, French press, microwave, and fridge. We do not have artificial air conditioning, relying instead on ocean breezes.

A ramp walkway leads from the house directly to the beach. Our perch overlooking the ocean is perfect for watching marine life, including whale migration in season, typically November through March.

Todos Santos is about a 15-minute drive to the north. A traditional "Pueblo Magico" Todos Santos has many art galleries, shops, restaurants, and an interesting look into Mexican life. Villa del Mar is located in the small beach community of Rancho Nuevo. Close enough to access all the adventure the region has to offer, but far enough away from town that you will not have to deal with roosters crowing, stray dogs, and loud music into the night. Just the quiet lapping of waves. This environment is all about tranquility and relaxation.
