"We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. We did not use the pool as weather was not hot enough, but we did BBQ a couple of times which was lovely. The log burner was a nice feature but was needed at night. For us a little too remote and we liked to be back before dark...

"2 couples from Canada, stayed for a month. This was the perfect place for us. Outside Puerto de la Cruz however within walking distance. Local district had many places to eat and drink. Discount grocery was a short walk, butcher and fruit shops close by. Bus stop out front was nice for getting around. Solid charming working kitchen. Would love to return some day."

"The house was perfect for our six week holiday. We loved the location but be advised that it’s about a mile from town. There’s a bus stop very close but we chose to walk. It’s located very near a butcher shop that has excellent meat and near a small grocery store that has many things. We loved the outdoor space, took advantage of the kitchen most every evening and slept well in the comfortable bed. It was quiet and peaceful and the bird songs were beautiful to listen to. "A perfect base to explore the North and West of the island. Peaceful location with stunning views of the mountain and coast. The property itself was well kept and had all amenities required. The hot tub in the garden was a lovely addition. The road down to the property can be a bit narrow especially for large vehicles and parking can be a bit tight. Easy access to Lidl supermarket and the main highways along the North of the island. We had a lovely peaceful time here and would definitely stay...

"The house is just as described.. better. Elizabeth has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible with helpful condiments and toiletries. The garden is just as the photos. We came to relax and did just that, we stayed at the house doing very little for a number of days we were there which was perfect. The house is a long way from anywhere with very steep roads to access it, my only tip would be to have a flight that arrives in daylight. Negotiating the roads in a hire car...

"Insgesamt sind wir mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden und haben es genossen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist so konzipiert, dass sich Reisende ohne Andere in Ruheräumen zu stören, bewegen können. Ein +punkt. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass der Pool tagsüber im Schatten steht. Wir haben auch den Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse gebucht. Dieser steht frei und nicht windgeschützt. "We were greeted very warmly by Irmel and Ronald and given a bottle of wine, some beer as a welcome. Irmel baked incredible goodies and brought them over. As this was our first stay ever on Tenerife, they provided many suggestions for sight seeing, restaurants and events. Watching the monarch’s alight on their flowers in their garden was such a treat. "We were very impressed with the quality of everything at the villa. Unfortunately the weather was against us with unseasonably cold, wet and windy weather, so we needed to use all of the oil filled radiators to get the house warm. Lovely hot water in the showers!"

"The flat was really nice and spacious and well equipped. However, because of its open plan nature, it was cold despite the owners lending us 2 heaters. It was up 4 flights of steep stairs so many people might find this a problem. It is also high up in the hills and access to and from other areas of the island is very difficult, even with a hire car. The owners were extremely kind and helpful"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious house. The management team is excellent- super responsive. One of the bedrooms smelled mouldy and they came the next day with air fresheners and re cleaned the room. (The room did seem to always have a musty smell). House is excellent for large groups. There are lots of areas to have a meal. It was nice that all bedrooms have bathrooms."
