"Everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Villa was very clean (even at the end of the season) with spectacular views and the upstairs bedrooms we awoke to a glorious sunrise every morning. Villa was very well equipped with everything you needed, with plenty of island guides and 'things to do' booklets available for Kefalonia first timers. One definite trip is to Argostoli just to see the amazing sea turtles swimming on the bay. Plenty of great and friendly tavernas in Skala as well as Avli at the bottom of the road to the villa and Anemos tavena for an amazing sunset meal by the beach. Some traditional Tavernas in Skala as well as a couple of sports bars showing football etc and a great square in the centre of town where the local kids play and parents meet is a fantastic hour just sitting, watching and soaking up the atmosphere"

"Our first stop off as part of a month in Kefalonia. Faro Del Porto had everything g we needed but a special mention for the view from our room, it was superb. The welcome was lovely and we have every intention of returning next year. We loved Poros, an area we haven’t previously stayed in tending to stay in the north of the island. Thank you to all at Faro Del Porto. "

"Beautiful Villa, stunning views, and close to both Poros and Skala - where you could find shops bars and plenty of places to eat. The beds were super comfy, the outdoor space lovely and did i mention the view - wow. We already miss the sunsets.......highly recommend."

"Comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel. Lovely and friendly staff. Amazinv infinity pool with pool bar. Great location with tavernas and beach on your doorstep and only 10 mins walk into the centre of Skala."

"Beautiful property. Away from the town, yet only 5 minutes away, which made it perfect. It was very clean and the room comfortable. The beds not so soft but it could be dealt with. Not all the staff was very friendly but those that were made up for everyone else. The spa was small but really good. Venia and Eli were great and so attentive to our needs. They do not offer hair services but when I told Vania I had a wedding to attend, she went above and beyond to make sure to do my hair. Overall I would give a 9 out of 10 and would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the staff that made our stay so great!!!"

"Beautiful location. Nothing nearby as far as restaurants go so a car is ideal. They have a shuttle few times a day that you pay one way for. There is a small pebble beach which is really gorgeous for a swim and snorkel right by the parking lot. Breakfast is nice, lots of choices. Coffee machine worked by the third day but was quite slow for the amount of people wanting coffee. So that was a little backed up every time. They had a few kettles with black coffee but only one espresso coffee machine for coffee with milk. Lots of egg options, yogurt with lots of topping options, different breads, loafs, croissants, pastries, fruit, cold and hot meats, juice, milk, coffee and tea.. it was busy however staff was amazing ! Cleaning up for you and constantly adding more food. Very well done! It was quite hot while we were there but the AC worked well. Room was well cleaned. Beds were comfy and the views are amazing from our rooms but since it’s on a hillside many rooms probably had a great view. Family rooms meant connecting doors which was great! Fridges were not working very well and had lots of ice in them which meant the door didn’t close well anymore. But maybe that was an oversight. They have laundry service. I could fill a large laundry sack I got from the front dezk, paid $20 and they washed it for me, put it back in my room folded nicely the same day !!! Amazing vacation Luxery when traveling light,to have this option! All in all a lovely stay, kind staff, great place"
