“A green oasis in a green town. We, a family of four, stayed at Lotus Villa for two nights and had a wonderful experience. This boutique hotel is centrally located, but still hidden away from the busy main street. The very green courtyard provides a wonderful backdrop for our breakfast. “The staff is helpful and cheerful. When I get hurt during the New Year, no Tuk Tuk can be called. The boss of hostel drives me to the hospital and wait me for over half hour. The environment is clean and quiet. You can see the reality of monks just in front of the guesthouse, comparing with the "tourist" monks in French area. But the hotel is in the another side of the river. Bamboo bridge is built during the dry season but it charges 5000K for go-and-back per person. If you stay 4 days,……

“This was the first hostel I ever stayed in and it’s still my favourite. I stayed in the all-female 12-bunk dorm and the bed was so spacious and comfortable - there was lots of room to put your bags at the end and multiple little shelves to put your things on. The staff were so friendly and the free shuttle to and from the night market was so convenient, I went every night of my stay. I also really liked how there was one main table at the bar, which made it so much easier to make friends during……
