"Had a problem with door code that was not the owners fault. She and Vrbo fairly quickly got it straightened out. We were traveling on utv’s over the old wagon road from elk city. One of our machines had a breakdown just before we got to our room. Host was nice enough to let us park machine there until we could retrieve it, and offered us a free nights stay! You can’t find people like that much anymore.!"

"This small cabin was precious! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our short stay and felt they supplied everything we could need and more. Including snacks, coffee, and games. Very happy with the stay and were very impressed with the craftsmanship of the furniture. Would love to stay again. 10/10"

"Awesome property and hosts! The house was clean, stocked, comfortable, extremely/reasonably priced-- has wonderful views, wildlife and a very peaceful vibe. Close to all the outstanding outdoor activities....like jet boating Hells Canyon and a cute park on the Salmon river with shade, a great beach less than a mile from the house. Had some awesome sleep as the furnishings were very comfortable and inviting. Hosts were informative, timely and most accommodating...it was a pleasure to interact with them and the local caretaker.We travel a lot and this was a very special stay...would rebook in a heartbeat as it was the perfect getaway from stress and city life. Nature was the focus while being most comfortable in this property."

"The place is lovely, our room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. They have a restaurant on site, which was very nice since you are far away from other places to eat. The food was very good. You are still 5 to 6 miles away from the town of Elk City, which is very sparse with eaterys. They are growing there facility, so soon they are looking at putting in a sauna, hot tub and a event building for weddings, gatherings and what ever someone wants. It would be nice to go back when it snows to get a different feel and enjoy nature a different way."

The scenery, wildlife and peacefulness of this location is stunning. The host certainly outdid themselves in every single touch with all the comforts of home. Exceeded our expectations. Bravo! "Wonderful 3 bed, 2 bath house. With creek and critters to enjoy. AC works great. Back patio has wonderful grill if you like that. Kitchen could have used a few more pots to cook with.( you will now have 2) Bring Epi pen if you are allergic to bees.Owner was great and quick to respond to any and all e-mailsI gave all 5’s as it was a great get away from the hustle and bustle of work."
