We came to NC for Faith Fest 26 and this happened to be the closest hotel we could find to wilkesboro. But we were so fortunate that we stumbled upon this Hotel. The listing was very accurate to the actual townhouse. And it was conveniently located right in down town Elkin which turned out to be an awesome little town. We walked to go eat and get coffee every day. There is also a park with a splash pad for kids in close walking distant. Will definitely try to book again for Next year!

Brick walls were cool. Glad to be able to bring our dog. Room was quiet. Rooftop area was nice. Bed mattress sagged, like a hammock. Need more light and lamps in the space. Appreciated the hand soap, and shower amenities. Also appreciated extra pillows. Would help to have user information for the TV. There was a note about North Carolina snacks to welcome guests, but there weren’t anyone we arrived. Really need more hangers in the closet.

Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. Also, allthough Three Trails does notify guests that no elevators are on the premises, the stairs are a challenge if guests have large suitcases. Our room is identified as being on the second floor, but actually, from the Bridge Street entrance (the only entry for guests), it is actually on the third floor. There are a lot of steps. The room is spacious with a couch, small table with two chairs, coffee table, queen sized bed, and a full kitchen, including a full sized refrigerator (with freezer), dishes, glasses, cutlery , and a Keurig coffee maker. On balance, we enjoyed our stay at Three Trails and are now better informed if we make a return visit.

The property was clean and well maintained! Very walkable with the surrounding options on Main Street. Only suggestions we have for functionality comfort improvements are below: -A rack or hook for the hand towel in the bathroom -A hook(s) for bath towels (after use) -Floor length mirror addition -New mattress as the current one feels a bit like it has ran it's course

Great location. Very walkable to all the fun things Elkin has to offer, including a local brewery/pizza place and a fantastic cocktail bar. Hiking trails for all levels within walking distance from room. Nice studio room, very clean, but a little small for two adults. Needs comfortable seating, task lighting and bedside tables of some sort. 3.5 out of 5

Location is perfect. We parked on Friday and did not touch the car until Sunday. Reeves Theater is awesome venue for music. Also caught a band at Railyard Beer Garden. Walk to Angry troll, also a fun spot, is short. Many trails and the Elkin Vine Line for wineries is top notch. Property lacks a working elevator but otherwise is very clean and effcient. Rooftop is also a extra nice touch.

We were on the bottom floor and it was SO LOUD. I could hear the people above us at 1 am then again at 7 am. Really, I know everything going on in the family now … the man and wife were arguing over ‘mama’. There are no Kleenex to be found, which is odd, and no towel racks. It is a convenient location, enabling us to walk everywhere, but the rate is too high for what you’re getting. Or add some insulation, a towel rack, and a box of Kleenex then we’ll talk

The location was fantastic, and the stay itself was wonderful-- clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Our only issue was with the check-in process. We arrived about 30 minutes before a concert a few blocks away to drop off our things, and the code to the unit did not work. We called and texted the listed property manager multiple times, and did not hear back from them for over two hours. While this isn't a long time, it was excessive for the situation-- it was an easy fix and could have been done in a more timely manner. As it was, we were unable to relax and enjoy our concert, not knowing if we'd have a place to stay the night. The response time was really excessive. Otherwise, our stay was great, so the issue was with the property manager, not the owner/lister of the property.
