「The host was welcoming and helpful. The mobility ramp to the front door was a bonus as was the garage to park the car out of the snow. The heating worked well. Unfortunately the house was not very clean (very dusty). The hand rail on the stairs to the basement was falling off the wall. With a deep clean and some maintenance this property would be top notch.」

「The property manager took an hour to communicate back with me after being locked out and given the incorrect access code in the booking. The phone number listed was a business number not open on the weekends. The host made me feel like I was stupid and at the wrong property. 「This was my first experience with VRBO and am very disappointed with my stay. Ironically the host attempted to blame me for my complaint by stating I have been the only guest who complained of the cigarette smoke smell. The person below me smoked and each time he would supposedly go outside to smoke, I could smell the smoke as if he was in the next room. 「The house was clean. But shortly after we arrived after a 10 hour drive we were hoping for some tranquility they started doing yard work near the house and mowing the lawn. The next day 4 strange guys started doing work in the garage around our vehicles and the house for a few hours. This was our second and last stay at this property. 「Was not a fan of having to pay a hefty price for insurance on top of the listed price. Very misleading. Dining table was almost too shaky to eat at let alone play games at. Nice location across from h to be lake but most of the window blinds are busted so could not appreciate the view. Nice walking/running path access! Minimal supplies in kitchen. 」
