My group had two families, 4 adults and 4 kids and this rental was perfect for our needs. We had a great time in the hot tub, using the fire pit and got to enjoy the community amenities as well. The kids especially loved the basement, called it their party palace. We also got to see deer everyday in the front yard. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

My husband traveled to Elliljay on Business. The cabin was fine. His stay was fine. He had no issues with the cabin. He wanted to extend 1 night. We reached out to the host online and did not get a timely response so I tried to "Chat" with VRBO. Apparently, that is not a real person. I received canned responses. The quote I was given for the 1 night stay was outrageous. I have extended my stays in the past with other platforms and never had this experience. The cost for the 1 extra night was 40% of my entire cost for 4 nights. Checking out and not extending was the only option. Now the cabin is empty on a Tuesday night when the owner could have gotten another night rental on an empty calendar night.

My husband traveled to Elliljay on Business. The cabin was fine. His stay was fine. He wanted to extend 1 night. We reached out to the host online and did not get a timely response so I tried to "Chat" with VRBO. Apparently, that is not a real person. I received canned responses. The 4 night stay was a total of 800 (i.e.200 per night after fees/taxes). When I got the quote for the extra 1 night extension I was told 341. I thought that was quite high. It was 95 for the night, 197.32 for Fees & 48.85 for taxes. I could not get the fees broken out. I assumed it must have been that I was getting charged the entire cleaning fee again as well as the services fees and the 59 Vacasa Fee. Not sure why you would charge those fees again when I had already paid them as part of the 4 night stay. That is ridiculous. I usually use a different platform and have extended my stays often. The extra night has always been reasonable. I know there will be "some" fees but to quote me 341 for 1 night after I had just paid 800 for 4 nights seems excessive and a bit like price gouging. I will probably not use your platform again for this reason. Now the cabin is empty on a Tuesday night when the owner could have gotten another night rental on an expected empty calendar night.
