「The place was excellent get away. We enjoyed it, everything that we need was there. We decided not do any cooking, because we were on vacation and spend the time eating out. The dog enjoyed her stay and only slept on the bed with us for a few hours because of the thunderstorm that passed through. Meet the neighbor and he was enjoyable to speech with. The whole experience was excellent, will be planning on using this out fit again. Thank you」

「Great vacation spot! The location is outstanding being just minutes away from everything including Peninsula State Park. My wife and I stayed with two other couples and the layout worked perfectly. We had our own bedrooms and also plenty of communal space to plan our day out and converse. Unfortunately the weather didn’t let us use the fire area as we had anticipated, but the space looked awesome. We look forward to staying again when the opportunity arises.」

「This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. We love it as it is dog friendly, clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill station, hammock and kayaking during sunsets. The views are incredible outside and from the inside. We stayed off season so it was quite chilly, but you can always warm up in the indoor sauna:). Great hiking opportunities in the nearby state parks (Newport and Death Door Bluff), The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!」

「We love this place for the 2 of us. Beautiful location right on the water in Gills Rock. Small but functional kitchen, so we can eat some meals in. Great bathroom and huge closet. The views are spectacular all day and into the evening! And the sunsets!! Gretel and Dan are amazing hosts and we will return, again and again!」
