Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway

The room is basic and met our needs. There is not real coffee in the room and no provided soap and TV options are poor. The bed is nice and comfortable. The window opens which is nice if you like fresh air. The room facing the street is loud with traffic noise; if that bothers you, there is a courtyard option. Breakfast at Cassell's downstairs was good (real food) and they have a nice bar. When we arrived the clerk required a CC deposit of $200 in case there was damage. As i had booked this room ahead of time for my elderly parents it would have been nice if they had arranged to put the deposit on my card instead of harassing my parents about it (i had called to confirm the reservation so there was an opportunity to coordinate this, even though i booked on hotels.com). Overall, it was a good experience, and I would book again for the convenience of the location.

The room itself was wonderful. Staff is very friendly. The only downside is the food is horrendous. We ordered room service and a burger was one of those burgers that was kind of grey and not real meat. We got very sick. The breakfast is Starbucks and that’s a bunch of processed garbage. So hotel wonderful. Don’t plan to eat here.
