"This property is over 10 miles away from the center of Coeur d’Alene. It is directly on the lake, it is incredibly lovely and well-maintained. Only downside is there is no restaurant on the property."

"After traveling all day, we just wanted a comfortable bed and a quiet room. We got it as well as a nice soak in the hot tub. The staff was very friendly. The room needed a bit of cosmetic work, but that didn’t hinder our sleep. "

My Husband actually had a work conference at the Coeur d’Alene resort Hotel but we were still able to go for walks and just enjoy the peaceful cabin. "We enjoyed our stay, loved having the 2 houses and that we were able to bring our dogs. This was our first family vacation In years and we were so thankful to do it here, with the beauty and the joy of the lake. We rented jet skis for 2 full days, it was a joy to have the lake house. Things I would be aware of: 1)we had to wash bedding from the top bunk before sleeping. 2) we had to clean the stove before cooking 3) we cleaned the back patio by the hot tub because we spent most the time out there In the lake house: 1) the coffee pot has the wrong glass-craft and so coffee will run out if not fixed 2) the lights do not work up stairs in the game area and the bedroom 3) the bed was uncomfortable"

"We contacted Vacasa MULTIPLE TIMES from the minute we checked in regarding the dish network and internet not working, bbq being left with food still on it, jacuzzi was filthy with debris and leaves in it and it was cold, etc., the list goes on. Their customer service was the worst we’ve ever experienced and with each text and call we made, which were MANY came the promises of someone coming out to fix things or someone calling us back. One lady promised to “personally call us back” which never happened. No resolution to the issues. Due to no internet and us owning our own business we had to leave and they REFUSED to give us a refund. Worst experience ever renting a house and I would never do business with them again. I hope the owners of the house see this and fire them. Totally unacceptable! I should have read reviews as the same issues have been going on for years."

"The setting for this home is perfect. Centrally located on the shores of the channel between the main lake and the open waters that will take you into Harrison as well as the CDA River. The views from the wrap around balcony are spectacular. Having access to your own boat dock as well as the private beach for swimming during the day and a cozy fire at night make this a top-notch property. Everything we needed to cook multiple meals every day – plan your stay - you don't want to have drive into town as you are about 30 minutes from CDA not to mention traffic once you get there. Think of the path down to the water as your daily exercise - it is a bit tough on the way up. It was just the two of use so didn't mind the open master bedroom but even if there were others do not see it being an issue (there are baby gates in the closet should you want to create some boundaries). Settle in with plenty of books, movies, games, satellite TV and wi-fi (that worked nonstop our entire stay!). Our stay was a mix of weather - the heat and AC worked great. There were plenty of linens, blankets and we even found beach towels. Be sure to bring firewood as you won't find any just laying around. Lots of wildlife - birds, chipmunks, deer - but our favorite were the groundhogs. The road into the area is narrow and unpaved as you get closer to the property (make sure you have a plan if bringing/renting a boat as outlined in the property notes). The property company was very responsive."
