"Christy’s home and property are absolutely beautiful! The huge porch became our favorite place to sit back, take it all in, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We also loved sitting by the fire and listening to the frogs.It was the perfect place to unwind and finish out our vacation. If you’re looking for somewhere to unplug, relax, and recharge, this is definitely the place to be! Christy is an absolutely wonderful host; very, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great location between Lower Tahquamenon Falls and Paradise. Unit was clean, comfortable and included basic amenities. Nice back patio with grill, chairs, fire pit and hammock. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to stay!"

"This property worked perfectly for our family of grandparents, parent & grandkids. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds. Good linens. Well appointed kitchen. We cooked several of our meals… (could not figure out the “air fryer microwave,” however.)Great location for visiting Taquamenon, Whitefish Point, Soo Locks & perfect beaches. Fishing looked good too but didn’t have enough time!!Only downer was “No Pets” & the morning noise from delivery trucks to nearby restaurant & gas station (5:30am). Ugh."

"Second time staying at one of the Freighter's View accommodations. The view is unbeatable! Our stay was decent and we will stay again. The stay would have been a 5, except some of the niceties could have been better- enough bowls for 4 people, a mixing bowl, enough toilet paper for the whole stay... as someone who has cleaned numerous rentals for years, maybe I'm just picky. All in all, though, affordable and a nice stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The house needs to be loved the way it was once upon a time but it didn't cause us to not have a good time. We all agreed that for what we paid it was a good deal."

"Property was as advertised. Cabin and outhouse are clean. Enjoyed the outdoors. Well stocked with items we forgot to bring.If we are ever back in the area we would stay here again."
