"A real cabin experience on a semiprivate lake. The compound has two cabins with an owner’s cabin. There are maybe three other cabins on a nice size lake. Fishing from the dock was very fun. Using the watercraft was great given the lack of traffic. The screened in porch was very comfortable with a Great Lake view. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms small but clean and the kitchen well stocked. The bedrooms have walls but are open at the ceiling for airflow. Was fine for us but could be more noisy for people with highly variable sleep schedules. Owners were there during our stay and were very friendly and helpful."

"We needed a place to stay while I prepared a property for sale. Country Inn Deerwood provided a very adequate place without costing an arm and a leg. "

"The property was great. They had a great selection of watercraft available for everyone to use. The lake was not very deep so the younger kids could use the lake. We spent a lot of time on the patio eating, talking, and late at night around the fire pit. The yard was spacious so the boys could throw the football around. The house was great, especially the master suite. We had a group of 12 and it would be hard to fit more. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, serving dishes, and silverware. We had a very enjoyable and memorable experience here that our family will remember. "

"Beautiful cottage on quiet O'Brien Lake near Crosslake. It is perfect for four people as there is a guest cottage with its own bedroom and bathroom but the main cottage could sleep four on its own if your party has six people. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the rental includes a pontoon, a highlight of our week. Add the firepit and the screened-in porch overlooking the lake and it is the perfect place if you're looking for solitude. This is our second stay at this property and we highly recommend it!"

"After the excitement of arriving, we settled in and went fishing, found a northwoods breakfast diner and visited the Outing Yarn Shop. The cabin was nestled in woods right by the lake and we also fished (and caught some). When we wanted quiet we could choose between two different living rooms and there were beds for everyone.
