Good place in Emmerich

Hotel Stadt Emmerich is nicely located close to the actual center with easy access to the pedestrian high street and the promenade by the river. The room was newly renovated, clean, and with comfortable bed. Breakfast was good standard continental. There is good parking in the yard behind the hotel. Value-for-money is good.

Pleasant stay in a very friendly Hotel. The room was a bit on the small side but I was travelling as a single. Excellent breakfast with all the usual choices available. Would stay again, many thanks. John .

Great, until checkout, and having to pay 2nd time

The hotel is opposite the station, so easy to find. Great beer garden, the restaurant produced wonderful food, in large quantity. The only downside was at checkout, the owner was not happy about Hotels.com taking 18% commission, so insisted that I paid him direct and a rate higher than I had already paid to Hotels.com. Hopefully I will get my money back.

Fehlerhafte Zimmerbeschreibung

Laut Beschreibung hätte das Einzelzimmer 24 Quadratmeter haben sollen. Tatsächlichen waren es höchsten 12 Quadratmeter. Nach meiner Beschwerde wird es jetzt mit 20 Quadratmeter angegeben. Das WLAN hatte oft aussetzer. Um Warm zu Duschen musste ich mindestens 5 Minuten warten bis das Wasser warm war.

Sehr alte Unterkunft Zimmer aber auf neusten Stand genügend Steckdosen und usb-c Dosen. Bäder sehr einfach gestaltet aber zweckmäßig mit Fön, Handtüchern,(leider wahr ein Handtuch verschmutzt) Seife, Dusche. Einzelzimmer sehr kompakt. Frühstück einfach gestaltet kleines Buffet Kaffee wird in Kannen gereicht.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Mitarbeiter hatten immer ein nettes Wort für uns. Unser 3-Bett-Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und neu renoviert. Das Frühstück war gut und es war für jeden etwas dabei. Im zugehörigen Restaurant kann man sehr gut essen. Es empfiehlt sich aber, einen Tisch zu reservieren. Die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz ist etwas eng aber zu schaffen. Vom Hotel aus erreicht man den Rhein in gut 5 Gehminuten. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder dort für ein langes Wochenende buchen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer prima, außer Lautstärke, befahrene Straße , wenn Fenster gekippt. mit Biergarten. Nahe Bahnhof und Busbahnhof. Einkaufsmöglichkeit auch nah. Rheinpromenade wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Frühstück ausreichend . Busverbindung auch nach Holland.
