The proprty is cute and clean. But, the plumbing has issues, toilet did not flush properly and shower did not put out enough water to be effective.

We really loved the motel. It was superb other than one condition the bed was extremely hard and I had to move to the couch during the night. If all beds were like room 15 then we won't be staying there again.i really hope they take this in consideration and we would definitely stay there again.

The management here is very unprofessional. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. When we arrived at 3pm, the sign on the door said the office was open at 3pm. We had a reception 40 miles away that started at 4pm. We called the number and finally got someone to answer they said no one would be there until 4. The manager was very snippy because they had screwed up. Terrible experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The "manager" that you spoke to, both times, was actually me. I am the owner of this motel. On this day, our employee had to leave at 3:00 and the next shift was unable to be there until 4:00. We did have a one hour gap where the office was not available in person. However, the phones were forwarded to me and I was able to check guests in remotely. You called me at 3:20 that day. When you stopped yelling long enough for me to speak, I did explain this to you. I offered to help you check in remotely. We do this with dozens of guests every week with no problem. Instead of allowing me to help you, you continued to yell at me and insult everything from the motel to the staff. When the young man working our evening shift arrived, you came back in to the office and yelled at him for quite some time. We have security cameras in the office and it was sad to see how he was treated. You obviously agree with this, because you later came back and brought him donuts as an apology. Without realizing that you had already spoken to the owner, and that I was the one trying to help you with your room, you told the employee to call his manager. Once I was on the phone, you proceeded to begin yelling for a third time, telling me how rude the first person on the phone (me) had been and how this had ruined your trip. It was interesting to see, though, that for someone in such a huge rush, you did not leave the motel for well over an hour. Ultimately, you threw a tantrum, you were rude to all of our staff even when we were doing our best to help you, and you refused to simply listen. You are correct that our sign on the door says 3pm. In fact, we are typically open at 1:00 even though it says check-in is at 3pm. Our entire staff is made up of humans and humans make mistakes. When our employee had to leave at 3:00, before the next shift was there, she simply forgot to hang up the sign showing that we would be back at 4:00. She feels terrible after hearing how many people were yelled at and now seeing this review. I hope that you feel better knowing that your point was made. You were angry, you don't like our motel, and as you told me quite forcefully, you will not be back. Good luck in your future travels. I do hope that you are never inconvenienced by human mistakes again.

The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING!
The bed was super comfortable and the linens were just as luxurious as a high end hotel.
My only con was the lighting at the bathroom sink. It’s not bright enough and creates a lot of shadows. So for a woman wanting to ‘get ready’ for a concert it was a bit of challenge because it was so hard to see what I was doing.
Overall it was the perfect stay!!
Very spacious room at this hotel. Emmett is a fairly small town so there aren’t a ton of dining options, but the room is nice with Roku tv, a microwave & coffeemaker. Bed was very comfortable. Nice overnight stay.

Great little property. It is somewhat outdated but it is very clean, quaint and cozy, and the staff is amazing. Just the type of place we like to stay!

Noisy stay in Emmett
A single night in an ample king room. The good: clean, spacious, adequate cooling in hot weather. The not-so-good: extremely noisy - on the main drag in a working town full of commercial trucks and private diesel pick-ups, little natural light, no desk or writing surface, loud air conditioner with unresponsive controls.

Michael, I am so sorry to hear that your stay was not entirely enjoyable. It looks like you were in our ADA room, which happens to be the only room that does not have a typical desk or table. Again, I am sorry for that. We hope that you come to stay with us again in the future! We will make sure to have you stay in a different room with better accommodations for your needs.
This place was unexpected... with the name, i figured that it would be a dimp, but to my surprise someone spent a lot of time and money on bringing it back to life. Very clean, quiet, and well equipped. Not a fan of no continental breakfast but found a gem "Tom's Cabin" not far away. The electric outlet placement limited me to one bed for my cpap.
I will definitely be going back.

Everything! Easy check-in, clean, unique, comfortable, good price. We love the beautiful wood inside and out. It has a nice at home feeling. If I am ever passing through again, or even near Emmett, I will be staying here.

It was ok because it had a rustic vibe,but the bathroom was a little bigger than a closet. The toilet base was broken and somehow they glued the broken piece to the base. Having said that it was ok for one night

I am so sorry to hear about your experience! I have sent our maintenance man to look into the toilet that you reported as broken. I am sorry that the bathroom was not big enough, but it does have a full bathtub and shower. When you stay with us again, I recommend the two bedroom suite that was just fully renovated. You will have a large bathroom, living room, and even a full kitchen! I do hope that you are able to stay with us again in the future.
This little motel was better than some of the hotels we stayed on our Oregon coast trip. The staff was very friendly and helped us with remote check in since we wouldn't get there until after hours and the room is really nice

We love going to the Holiday motel!! We go about every 3 months..we love that is dog friendly..this is our home away from home!! Friendly staff and very clean rooms..the beds are extremely comfortable!!

Unfortunately, this is incorrect. This room was booked with a "hotel collect" rate. We did give you the benefit of the doubt when you arrived late at night and refused to pay. We agreed to call Hotels.com and Expedia (the partnership that owns Hotels.com) to confirm payment the next morning. I am the owner of this hotel and I personally called and spoke with Hotels.com. It was confirmed that you had not paid. You also used the chat box on the Hotels.com page and eventually came back to us, agreeing to pay. I understand your frustration with the situation and not realizing that this was not prepaid, but giving us a 2 out of 10 when we went above and beyond, allowing you to stay the first night of your trip without payment confirmation, is unacceptable. Your card also declined when we attempted to place a 40 hold for the damage deposit. In the future, please find a different place to stay for your trips to Emmett. Our staff works hard, tries to help everyone, and does not deserve to be treated with the disrespect that you showed them.
