"Let me begin by saying if you are expecting amenities like a chain hotel or even the beauty and charm of a locally owned boutique hotel, this is not your place. My husband and I tend to be the type that utilize a hotel to shower and sleep and that’s pretty much it. Based on that, I feel pretty confident giving this a 4 or maybe a little less. Check in was smooth and the gentleman was pleasant and explained the usual - WiFi password and hours that help would be available. The key is a physical key. We headed to our room and were disappointed to discover it was still not clean despite it being past 4:00 PM. We noticed housekeeping staff working a few doors down and alerted them and received a gruff „we know!“ So we left and dreaded our return because our first glimpse of the room was disappointing. We returned after dark to a clean room that ended up satisfying our needs. The bed was comfy, the shower was lovely and the room temperature was pleasant. No upgrades seem to have ever been made so keep in mind that it is nostalgic 70s throughout. Our TV didn’t work although we followed the „reset“ instructions explicitly laid out in the material given to us at check in. But we took that as a sign to go to sleep. And we slept incredibly well! Note: we did realize that everything can be heard in the next room if you have a pass through door (not sure if all rooms have that). We didn’t discover that until the next morning until I clearly heard our neighbor quietly admonishing her dog."

"We have stayed here before and we will surely stay again in the future! We were in Fredericksburg for our son‘s wedding so we had extended family with us and there was room for everyone. The property and grounds are amazing and we love that it’s a little bit remote, but still close to everything. The hot tub and sauna were enjoyed by some of us, unfortunately, it was a little too cool for swimming with the cold front. The host/owner are amazing with communication and taking care of any issues that come up just as soon as possible. Highly recommend staying here as a place for family and friends to connect or just a romantic getaway for a couple."

"It’s a perfect hotel for convenience and a quick mini getaway! The location makes it easy to explore the area without having to drive around too much. It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a short, relaxing trip while still being close to everything. I would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway!"

"Everything was even better than listed! So clean, and beautiful! All the extra touches, the high quality toiletries, the snacks & coffee, the scissors and lighter in the drawer! Tub was so big and luxurious, tv and shows! The style was adorable and we loved everything so much and hope to return! Drive was close to everything. Thank you for your noticeable effort in all the details! 10 out of TEN"
