We arrived to a lovely gift basket waiting for us with all kinds of goodies! The property was very, very clean! Great location, deck is much bigger than shown in the photos. Great Ocean views! This property right next to stairs to the ocean! All beds were comfortable. This property is located in a gated community with a guard at the entrance. This property has everything you need for families and lots of movie channels included! Our family of four had a wonderful time staying at this property!

We had a wonderful vacation at this spectacular home, and everything we needed and more was provided. The views from the balcony and the primary bedroom were absolutely stunning, and it was lovely to have the sound of the surf lull us to sleep every night.The host gave us a lovely welcome basket and was very responsive and helpful. This was our second stay at this wonderful townhouse. The location is magnificent and the home is comfortable, well furnished and provided everything we needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Rick was a great host and we made good use of all the outdoor amenities he makes available - bikes, boogie boards, wet suits, beach chairs, pickle ball paddles and balls, and coolers. We had an absolutely wonderful time and hope to return again.

Great Location Great Home

The home is beautiful and has everything you need or think you need. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the surfers and the occasional dolphin. We had know issues but wish the weather was a little better so we could use the pool even though it was heated. Would stay if we are in the area again.

THIS Property was understated in the VRBO PRESENTATION ON LINE .IT SHOWED MUCH BETTER IN PERSON THAN THE VRBO PHOTOS. THIS WAS PROBABLY THE BEST APOINTED VRBO HOUSE I EVER RENTED AND I HAVE RENTED QUITE A FEW. VERY NICE OWNER AND THE LOCATION IS 5 STAR. WOULD DEFINATELY RENT AGAIN.

Beach Getaway

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Rick's Beach oasis during Christmas break for 7 days. This property well exceeded our expectations. The space was clean, spacious yet cozy. The amenities were top-notch, we had everything that we needed and more. The location was perfect, we loved sitting out on the deck and watching the surfer's and daily visits from dolphins. We also enjoyed walks on the beach during low-tide. Our experience at this location was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for such a memorable stay, we will definitely be back.

Great Beach Vacation

Clean house with all the amenities of home. Well appointed kitchen! Right next to the beach stairway. Dolphins right out the window. The beach has rocks so bring some water shoes if you have weak feet like me. Pickleball and tennis courts. A perfect vacation!

Christmas vacation

We had a great time in this beautiful home. It was nicely decorated for the holidays, and was well stocked for anything you would need on vacation. There was a wide range of beach equipment - chairs, coolers, toys, wet suits, boogie and surf boards, towels, etc. The kitchen was also well equipped with everything you need to cook and serve with. Beautiful views from the deck, especially at sunset. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Terrific rental. Right over the ocean, beautiful sunsets, in a community with two very nice pools nearby. Among other things it was easily the best equipped place we’ve ever rented. It seemed to have everything — bikes, wet suits, beach chairs, multiple sets of dishes, extensive cookware, etc. etc. The owner was also very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Incredible View and Ocean Sounds!

Great balcony to relax and watch the surfers and for entertaining. Tri level so there’s a few stairs to navigate but the upstairs Master was the best place to be! If you walk down the stairs to the beach it is a narrow shore line with no sand,all rocks to get in ocean. Plenty of windows with ocean views. All in all loved our stay. Thanks, Rick.

Home away from home

We just spent a fantastic week in Encinitas at the Long's Beach House, and I have to say it may be the best place we've ever rented. Not only was Rick professional to deal with, the entire booking, check-in and stay was smooth and exactly as advertised. It's safe to say that we've never stayed in a rental that was as well-appointed, clean and maintained with care as this house. From the impeccably stocked kitchen to the Ethan Allen furniture, we felt like we were staying at a family home rather than a cookie-cutter "modern" rental. The garage was stocked with every beach toy and piece of recreational gear we needed for a day at the beach and everything was clean and in working order. The views of the ocean from the porch and master bedroom are awe-inspiring. We saw dolphins and sea lions playing in the surf frequently, and spent the evenings watching the sun melt into the Pacific. The location is perfect. The stairs down to the beach are conveniently right next to the unit. At low tide, the beach was perfect for walking and for the kids to explore the tide pools down by Beacons. We visit North County frequently, and I usually surf south of Grandview but the waves were great right in front of the condo. There are so many amazing restaurants in the area. The sushi at Kai Ola in Leucadia was fantastic. We are already looking at dates this summer to book this unit again. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Rick's condo is 10/10! It was perfect for our family of 4. This is the cleanest, most organized and well-stocked rental I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot)! It was like staying in a friend or family member's home, it did not feel like a rental. We will recommend it to all our friends and will definitely be back.
