"The beach is absolutely beautiful! The swimming pools are very nice. The grounds are very well maintained although there are areas that need to have outdoor lighting restored rather than abandonning the fixtures. Areas around the ground floor patios need refreshing. The staff is very friendly however service is slow. The resort is older but in general it is in reasonable repair. The rooms all need to be remodeled. There is no microwave, mini-refrigerator or in-room coffee. Overall our stay at the resort and on the island was very good. Our pre-arranged taxi service was excellant and puncturial. "
"Beachfront room 308. Lovely modern room, very clean and comfortable bed. Lovely large modern bathroom with great shower. The only complaint with the room is soundproofing…. You can hear the neighbors very very clearly… We had an early wake up call from their young child before 7am most mornings. So ear plugs are a must.
This room was Atlantic side so there was a seaweed problem on the beach, however there were teams of people working tirelessly to clear it away. Didn’t detract too much from the enjoyment. It was very peaceful here. The main beach in the bay is VERY busy and almost impossible to get a sunbed as people put their towels very early in the morning… 🙄.
We tried all restaurants except Picolo Mondo. All were pretty good. Stand outs for us was the à la cart Rainbow Room in the evening and Cocos in the evening. Both were excellent meals.
There’s music/bands most evenings but it finishes quite early at 9.30pm. Then people tend to go the other Bar area which I found awful personally - karaoke, etc. Not island feeling at all, felt more like a socia club. Not our vibe, but a lot of people enjoyed it and it’s open till 1am, if you want to dance etc.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing. Used the gym also, which was very well equipped, air conditioned and had water, towels and a shower."
"The room was not clean. The food was horrible. You could not swim in the ocean due to seaweed problems. No entertainment at all. Very bad experience overall."

"A week in paradise. This resort was absolutely top notch. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, so helpful and accommodating and the amenities were amazing. We had the best time, met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend. "
"We love this resort, from its location, beautiful and quiet beach, to it cleanliness, and special the staff friendliness. The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The receptionists, Farzana and Kashiri were very helpful and answered all our questions. Special thanks to Farzana and Kashiri who helping us booking the romantic dinner, sushi at black rocks pool and the lovely massages. We also love the staffs at the bar, breakfast and dinner restaurants, and Kerry and Melinda were really nice and supper supportive. We also appreciate the guest experience manager, Kemlin Charles who was helping us when we forgot our personal items in the room's safe box. Kemlin took time to ship our item back to the US after we checked out the hotel. Many things to list. We definitely be back and stay in Cocobay resort longer in a near future. "
