「Property was clean, quiet, and well kept. We enjoyed seeing deer walking the property on a daily basis. Indoor pool was great as the open glass gave it an outdoor feel. Our unit was clean and well stocked with dishes , cookware, towels, etc. We stayed in the deluxe unit with jetted tub which was amazing. 「Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues.」

「We stayed for 2 days. Brought steaks and other goodies to grill. We enjoyed the view from the deck. We refilled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the many visitors. We've never heard a hummingbird chirp! It was a nice quiet getaway to reset and recharge. We'll be back next time we want a quiet getaway.」

「This was our families second time to stay at Martin Ridge. We love it here. Something for everyone, pool, fishing wonderful surroundings. The house was immaculate and it is equipped with everything you would have in your home. Joanne and her family are wonderful hosts. Met her grandsons and they are polite, respectful and wonderful boys. Already booked for next year!」

「Had a great stay with my wife and 4 kids. Fishing was awesome with several catfish caught over 24" and some bass and bluegill. The swimming dock was a great place to hang out and enjoy the water. The golf cart is a nice addition for those trips around the lake when you don't feel like walking. We enjoyed smores by the firepit every night and sitting in the screened patio listening to the nighttime wildlife. Will stay here again!」

「My family and I booked at the last minute so we could go view the Solar Eclipse. The process of booking, checking in and checking out was a breeze. Jodey was very responsive and extremely helpful in making our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to return for a Christmas visit to Santa Claus.」

「We typically stay in Ferdinand every year for a family reunion. We weren't able to stay at our normal place this year and found this on a whim. It was absolutely perfect. My mother was with us and I had a recent knee injury. Everything was easy in and out, the layout was also convenient. It is certainly in an area that we call God's Country, but the STARS you see at night are worth it! Amazing. The cozy porch was perfect for star gazing or morning coffee. 「I recently visited Southern IN for a golf trip and had the pleasure of staying in the Mitchell’s cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, great outdoor area and super comfy king bed in the upstairs loft. I managed to leave something pretty important behind, and Martha was very accommodating getting it returned to me. Btw, Sultan’s Run in Jasper, IN (30 min drive from cabin) is a fantastic golf course.. just as good as the Dye Course in French Lick and less than a third of the cost to play! If I make my way...

「We were fortunate to have the hill too ourselves, beautiful view from hill, but views limited in cabins 2, 3 & 4. Cabin 1 had the best cabin view. Cabin 3 & 4 is a duplex with only a latch door to separate you. We stayed in cabin 3 it was very clean and quaint. Enjoyed a quiet night on the hill with a firepit and the fire wood provided. The hot tub was very nice, but located down by the main house which requires you too drive down and park . The host was very polite and helpful when available....
