Martin was an excellent host. Very easy and cheap Uber ride to the downtown area although there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well. We had a great visit and plan to return and stay with Martin.

A Little Gem - will be back!
Cute property, well cared for. The staff is fantastic and did everything they could to make our stay great! Walk to the beach in 5 minutes and lots of places to eat and drink close by. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful B&B
Wonderful location and service. Very attentive and breakfast was just wonderful. Short walk from the beach and short drive to city center. Some may complain that it does not have the conveniences and amenities of a hotel, but for a B&B, it was great. Trip was too short to really take advantage of the huge balconies and pool, so looking forward to visiting again.

Don not miss this one!
There is nothing left to be desired. Derek is an AWESOME host. Blueberry pancakes eggs and bacon in the morning. Pretty much every amenity that anyone could want at your fingertips. Too many restaurants a few minutes walk away.

The location was perfect right off the beach with quick access. The owner Derek is amazing, very friendly and very attentive to any needs you may have. I have never stayed at a Bnb before and was really just our last available option but by far the best thing that could’ve happened on the trip. I am pregnant and cannot stop thinking about the complimentary breakfast of blueberry pancakes definitely best I’ve ever had. My parents are Mexican and very difficult they wanted to cancel right away but after two nights fell in love saying they will definitely stay there from now on since they go every year to visit family and have never had such a relaxing stay. 10/100 recommend. It was so quiet and so relaxing, best trip ever. I can’t find the words to express how grateful we were to find this little spot and hope to stay there again soon!

Great place to stay
Wonderful place. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was consisted of a bedroom with a king bed and a living area with a twin bed, as well as a pretty fully equipped kitchen - fridge, microwave, toaster oven, a hot plate, some dishes etc. Also a hot tub on the enclosed balcony. The owner was super friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of information about the area,

We made a late reservation and Derek went out of his way to accommodate us. The Playa Hermosa B&B is a fantastic place to stay, with secured parking, a delicious breakfast and clean and comfortable rooms.

Location was perfect!! Very short walk to the beach and a nice view from our room. Everything was clean and neat and met all our needs. Derek and Ann were very hospitable and served up some great breakfast items. I’d definitely stay here again!!

Excellent B&B
The staff and management were very cordial and they serve an excellent breakfast. This was our first B&B and we found we liked it much more than a hotel. We liked that the pet deposit was fully refundable.

Had a great visit!
Very picky about beds and we slept like babies on the king suite bed! Breakfast was delicious, house dogs were friendly and service was great. Nice views from the balconies, super close to the beach and only 2.5 miles to the downtown area. Would go back again!

While the breakfast portion of this bed and breakfast was decent the bed part was sorely lacking. The room smelled bad -- musty was the word my girlfriend used to describe it. The TV remote couldn't adjust the volume. And despite being near the beach there was ZERO view of anything but the neighboring lot. Some might find the place "charming" but it was a very disappointing experiencing for us.

Hi Donald. We are very sorry you weren't comfortable in your stay with us. Unfortunately due to the covid problem we are forced to use disinfectant spray after cleaning it does have a wierd smell at first but seems to fade quickly. I admit I panicked when you said the room smelled and brought 7 different people through the room since you left and asked them if they could smell anything, nobody could. We will continue to monitor this though. So I checked the TV remote and there are clear volume controls on it. They worked perfectly for me. Sorry you couldn't figure them out. Must be a glitch somewhere there. You are correct the king rooms are on the back of the building and don't offer views. But the beautiful patios are 20 feet from your room and offer nice views of the ocean. At no time have we ever stated the king rooms offer views. Maybe you read the description of the queen rooms and assumed that carried over to the kings we are very sorry for that misunderstanding.

A very nice and quiet B&B near the ocean. They called the day before to verify our arrival time which was very nice. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. Victor was very friendly. Although we only stayed one night, we are deifnitely considering a longer stay the next time we are in the area.
