Nestled in the cedars, our pet friendly log cottage offers a peaceful retreat, and at the same time, a convenient home base for exploring all that Door County has to offer. We think you’ll love the rustic northwoods vibe. The cottage is located just a short walk from the waterfront, public beach, and the charming village of Ephraim. Take a sunset sail, go for a carriage ride, step into the past on a historical tour, or simply take a leisurely stroll on the back roads. As for food and drink, Ephraim Coffee Lab, Good Eggs, The Fashionable, Pearl Wine Bar and Wilson’s famous ice cream parlor are all nearby. Peninsula State Park is within biking distance. And of course, just a little further afield, opportunities abound for hiking, exploring nature, golfing, boating, checking out the galleries or taking in a show. Northwind Cottage #1 has a fully furnished kitchen with a table for 4, a dining area with seating for 8, a wood burning fireplace, and a living area perfect for gathering after a day of adventure. The cottage also has a charcoal grill, a small screened porch, picnic tables and a hammock in the backyard. The cottage is serviced by cable TV and wireless internet.
Northwind Cottage #1 is adjacent to Northwind Cottages #2 and #3. Not only can each cottage be rented out individually, but they are also perfect for larger family gatherings, accommodating up to 18 people total, when renting all three together.
1-2 dogs are permitted. Dogs must not be left alone in the cottage. $100 pet fee per reservation (includes 1-2 dogs).
