Raise your hand if you – like me – would never have guessed that this is… Greece! 🙋‍♀️ It was a steep but not too long hike up the mountains to get to Astraka refuge. We had great weather on the way up but it took a turn for the worse, so we dropped our stuff off in the refuge, had lunch, and waited. My legs were tired and I was so cold in the cabin so I really wasn’t feeling like getting out again to hike a bit more to get to Drakolimni/Dragon Lake but the skies cleared up again so I just couldn’t stay inside. And I was very happy I didn’t because the views were absolutely a m a z i n g. I mean I knew Greece is beautiful but I barely knew there are hikes to be done there, let alone with this kind of views. Win! #nature #greece #europe #mountains #hiking

“The pictures online does not show how good this place is. 2,5 floors. So seperate floor for the kids to stay. Quiet. Clean. Short walk down to restaurants and harbor. Syvota is probably the best destination int his region. Stay away from the harbor restaurants. Spiros half way down is hands down the best we tried. And so cheap. Best beaches are to the south of the city. By car about 5 minutes. Wish we would have stayed a lot longer here! ”

“der Aufenthalt im Old Manor House war einfach tolldie Lage des Hauses, der Blick auf den Hafen war unbeschreiblichwas uns sehr gefallen hat, die Wohnung wurde jeden Tag gereinigt, der Müll wurde weggebracht und wir bekamen mindestens dreimal frische Bettwäsche und Handtücherwir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder”

“Wow is all I can say! What a perfect private setting! So incredibly convenient with the beach at your feet, seafront pergola and sleeping sofa! Just like the descriptions says! The town is a couple minutes drive away. The Oak trees were so impressive and majestic! I must say that the hosts were more than accommodating and helpful.
