Reginna Palace Hotel

"We arrived at the Reginna Palace at the end of a two week vacation in the heat of the Italian summer. It has a pool but the hotel's private beach is the way to go. You pay a fee but in the late afternoon, after the crowds have left, the beach was sublime. Did I mention that the hotel upgraded us to superior room on the top floor, two room side but side with a large terrace overlooking the sea. It also provided us with breakfasts packages when they learned we had to leave very early the next morning. Maiori is a small town, good for families, away from the crowds of the better known towns, Positano and Amalfi."

"Hotel is in a great location. Hotel beach is directly across the street and boats and ferries are about a 10 minute walk. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. My only concern was we went in September and it was extremely hot and there is no AC in the bathrooms and during the night our AC would shut off. Luckily we bought our portable fans! Even with AC issue I would definitely stay here again!"

"My daughter and I stayed for 7 days and everything about our stay was wonderful! The tent was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our living area was absolutely beautiful from the hammock to the chairs looking over the sea to the lemons above our heads! The outdoor shower was fabulous on warm evenings! Jeri and Antonio were absolutely the best, they made us lovely breakfasts and dinner was fresh from the garden and off the charts delicious- and to eat under the lemon trees overlooking the sea, it was like a dream! They were great to chat with, we loved getting to know them. Bonaventura was so helpful, from helping us rent a scooter to telling us about the pictures from WW2 in his church! We loved being able to jump into the sea and swim to the beach! We would stay over and over again, it was the best way to experience Italy!"

"Great sea view, nice rooms (bathrooms however on the tiny side), very helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast with the view. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Maiori right on SS163 without a parking lot, so you have to walk to town to get to your car or rely on the hotel’s shuttle service."

"The property and the staff were very helpful. The view from our room was beautiful and we enjoyed the terrace. The rooms seem overpriced but perhaps as we were at the end of high season it was expected. We would definitely stay again. It is 15 minutes from Salerno but the lovely little town of Vietri sul Mare was the most favourite experience of our stay."

"The hotel is very pretty and well-situated on the coast, near Cetara, built into the cliffs with its own private beach. Because the hotel is between towns, the reception staff were incredibly helpful booking taxis and helping with transportation for activities in nearby Vietri sul Mare and Salerno. The private beach is very picturesque. The only drawback was the dining situation. While we had breakfast included (which was delicious), all other meals, including lunch, needed to be reserved in advance, which became annoying. Sandwiches were always available at the bar, but we didn’t come to Italy to just eat sandwiches. If you didn’t have a reservation, and the restaurants were booked (which happened twice to us), you’d have to go into Cetara for food."
