The staff and the hostel itself are amazing, but the room was definitely not worth it.
Positive: The girl at reception gave us some great recommendations and took the time to explain everything we needed. The hostel has an incredible design and the atmosphere was one of a kind. It is located 15 walking minutes or 10 by tram from the city center, which was not perfect but OK.
Negative: We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was very small, making it extremely hot and wet during the night. If you like sleeping with an open window then that wouldn't be a problem. The shower in the bathroom was build in a way that you have to constantly press a button in order to have a constant running water, which was very annoying. The shower was built-in and there was absolutely no way to take a shower without washing your hair. The biggest disadvantages were the location of the room and the thin mattresses. The common kitchen where breakfast is served was just a few meters away from the room and both mornings I was awakened by the noise of plates and cutlery, both days before even 8 am, which is way too early for my holiday wake-up time.
The other truly annoying thing was the mattress and the two single beds put together, which were advertised as a queen bed. Unfortunately, that was not the case and the beds were having a gap in between. The mattress was very thin and very, very uncomfortable, causing both of us horrible back pain in the mornings.
