"Stayed there 2 nights. The place are apartments with kitchen and fully equipped. Good WIFI, great pool, spacious, clean apartments. Location is walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Plenty of parking. They do not provide bath soap, shampoo or towels. They rent towels for €5, but they were nice enough and didn’t charge me. I checked in earlier than expected and they didn’t charge me extra, but I got a third floor unit and no elevators."

Much of the grounds and the house itself needs some money spent - like so many rental properties owners are happy to take the money but not to spend it updating their property. "We booked the Pierre & Vacances as a last minute trip, to escape the terrible British weather. Given that it was the school holidays in the UK, the cost was very reasonable and honestly, was worth every cent and more. The apartment was well equipped and modern, with a great view of 2 of the pools. There are 3 pools in total (1 with jacuzzi, 1 with a slide and 1 with a childrens area). All are well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds. The beach, supermarket, beach bar and some restaurants are only 5 minutes away, with the centre of Estartit and the port around a 20min walk along the promenade. We would absolutely return to the Pierre & Vacances and to Estartit. We have had a lovely relaxing holiday and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a self catering break or a base to explore the Costa Brava."
