Pure Paradise
We were looking for a week of pure relaxation and that’s exactly what we got! The house is beautiful. We took a couple of day trips (Playa Blanca and the cloud forest), but the highlight of our trip was lounging in the hammock, dipping in the pool and watching the cows walk by at twilight. Great spot if you are looking for a restful escape, or a more local experience. The owners also offer a variety of day trips if you are looking for more adventure!

Beautiful Bali home!
Absolutely beautiful home that we enjoyed very much. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax..this is it! The roads are quite curvey to get to the beaches if you do not take the toll road. Long car rides to Jaco and San Manuel Antonio National Park. Not too far from SJO airport.

We had an AMAZING time in Costa Rica and Liz and Jud’s home was a highlight. It was exactly as listed. We enjoyed all the spaces and the openness of the home. The landscaping and pool were well kept and we enjoyed both. Leticia, the property manager was very helpful, and was a good resource and did a great job communicating. We enjoyed a home cooked meal prepared by a chef that Leticia recommended and also enjoyed massages at the house. The house is located in a gated community and we felt very safe there. We would recommend the property to anyone.

Dream vacation
I don't really know where to begin in my review of this property. After booking our vacation, I had lots of questions. I reached out to property owners. They were so helpful. No matter how trivial the question, I received a quick response. Owners directed me to Leticia, the housekeeper who assisted me with everything nessasary to insure a wonderful trip. Owners provided assistance with day trip ideas and reached out to make sure we were having a wonderful time. Leticia met us at property upon our arrival to explain everything and any issue that came up. We took advantage of Chef Aaron recommended by Leticia to come to property to cook us a wonderful meal. ( Highly recommend). Leticia was a phone call away to assist. Okay, now the property itself: This is an absolute beautiful property. We enjoyed it so much. We planned a couple days just at house to relax. House is a very open air concept. No air, but it was not missed. House had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Pool was relaxing and very private. We were there almost two weeks. We enjoyed fresh bananas and tangerines grown on property. House is centrally located in Costa Rica so we were able to go any direction for adventure. Our trip included ATV riding near Jaco. A visit to Manuel Antonio, white river rafting, hiking Arenal Volcano, hanging bridges in La Fortuna, visit to Poas' volcano, Toledo coffee tour. Thank you Judd, Liz and Leticia for a very memorable trip.

Amazing Costa Rican property
My husband and I travel to the Atenas, Costa Rica area every year and have had the opportunity to stay at many properties. This is SUCH a beautiful property. We loved the covered breezeway between the main house and the bedrooms...we spent hours there reading, playing cards, eating...the area is beautiful. The pool had both shade and sun most of the day. I am a sun lover, my husband not so much...this pool was perfect for the both of us! This home had many niches, it would be perfect for a group. Places to spend time together, yet enough places to find solitude. The view from the outdoor eating/grill area is gorgeous. What a picturesque spot to spend an afternoon or have an evening meal. The property is located in a gated community in the very friendly town of Atenas. It felt so very safe and secure. Judd, Liz and their property manager Leticia were wonderful! Fantastic communication, checking in to make sure your stay was going well, the attention to make sure you were comfortable...they are a 10/10 team! The gardener, Darwin, kindly left us mandarins one morning after attending to the property. The whole team is just so kind. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is thinking about staying in the area! You will be so very happy that you did!!

From the first moment we were thrilled with our stay here. Leticia helped us get settled and stayed in touch. There is really no word to describe the beauty, comfort and decor of Villa Passiflora. The planning for our family trip began a year ago when I found this stunning property. Liz and Judd were extremely helpful with the planning of our first trip to Costa Rica. They have a beautiful blog that gives you excellent tips, a wonderful property manager Leticia that helps with on site needs and suggestions for other options to add to your vacation like a chef prepared meal and on-site massages-which we did both. Chef Aaron was so accommodating of our dietary needs and Heidi was the sweetest masseuse. Eduardo was our driver for most of the trip and he was perfecto! We also used Coati tours to see Poas and La Paz waterfalls. They did an amazing job coordinating our tour and even helped with a last minute change. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed for an excellent stay. Waking up to the beautiful views and wildlife was everything we wanted and needed from our vacation. Thank you again for everything! Pura Vida!
