「Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way. 「No ocean view from my room, but this place is absolutely fantastic, and brand new. It is NOT on the island - be aware - and it is a 10-minute walk or more to the ferry. We did not make a reservation for dinner, so we missed out (I'm sure it was amazing) but our breakfast the next morning was out of this world. We did the American-fusion breakfast (it was not very American, but my gosh was it great). Absolutley loved the hotel.」

Kenji-san provided such a cozy comfortable stay on his organic farm with a one of a kind view of the Setouchi Inland Sea or as he calls it “the Japanese Mediterranean”. Kenji kindly gave us tour upon arriving and showed us all the facilities including a traditional cedar tub and we shared very engaging conversation on the drive to and from the property.
